Ordered a small fortune of goods on December 04, 2022. Its now April 2023 and still no tracking number. Don't be fooled by their attractive web interface, you'll probably never get your goods.
Orderd a mini UPS and almost a month later, still no UPS? Their WhatsApp service is a joke and no phone number to contact them. I'll be surprised if they ask why I'm canceling my fiber service with them. Can only LOL at their bad service, why loosing sleep over this, they don't. PATHETIC!!!
Order number 70433414 was scheduled for 2 Mar 2020 before 5pm. My wife, who placed the order, was home all day, waiting for the delivery to arrive. After 5pm, no delivery and no attempt to contact her. Then a message got sent from Takealot, claiming the courier could not get hold of the recipient, therefor the delivery will be rescheduled for the next day. The next day came and gone, still no delivery or attempt to contact us. Without having to go into too much details, after more than a R100 of airtime, hour+ wasted by holding on for support on the phone and emailing then twice, we had no luck. At this point in time my blood is boiling and all I can think of is giving the owner of Takealot a good scolding he'll never forget. On the third day my wife tries to contact them and spent another R40+ on airtime. In desperation she selects option 4 from the auto answering service, routing her to accounts. My wife explained everything and asked for a refund. The agent responded by saying no refunds, best they can do is to credit the account. If anyone reads this, please know that Takealot might shine with their fancy web site and all,but whenit comes to delivery, you WILL be *****ed and that's a guarantee. Takealot, your pathetic service makes my stomach turn. I just hope your management gets what they deserve! What comes around, goes around. Email sent from my wife "...My order 70433414 was scheduled for yesterday 2 March 2020 before 5pm. I was home the entire day and no one attempted to contact me on my mobile phone (*********xx) or came to the house ( I even checked with the guards at the access gates) I received an sms after 6pm saying delivery is rescheduled due to the recipient not being available, which is incorrect. I was available all day. It was rescheduled to today 3rd March before 3pm. Again I was available and no one has arrived and no attempt to contact me was made. If my order is not delivered by tomorrow I would like my order cancelled and refunded, as no attempt is being made to liaise with me the customer (who is readily available). I also attempted to contact your customer care centre several times and no one answers. Please advise as to how I can receive a refund since my order is not being delivered through no fault on my part...."
Thank you for an effortless experience buying via your online store. Products are exactly as expected and well packaged. Your store provides spares I could not find anywhere else. Best prices where I managed to find similar products.
