I booked return flights with Cemair from EL to JHB and JHB back to EL. It was such a horrible experience, they sent a cancellation email for flight from JHB to EL only few days before the flight. When I tried to check in online for my EL-JHB flight only to find out that it was also cancelled. No email, no communication. Mind you I was graduating in JHB. There were no flight from East London. Taking a flight from PE was going to cost me an additional R6k. I had to take a flight to Durban and then another one from Durban to JHB and the cost to that was R4k that I did not budget for. I had to book another return with a different airline that costed me R2k. So in addition I had to pay R6k for return flights because they cancelled last minute. I almost missed one of my biggest achievements because of this airline. Now getting my refund is also a struggle. Still no response after I have sent my details to them. It’s over 21days now without my refund. This is just tiring and frustrating. I am never booking with this airline again.
