I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my insurance claim involving Gencom Insurance, Blue Crane Insurance Brokers, and New National Assurance Company. From the beginning (2 March 2026), this entire process has been poorly managed, unprofessional, and frustrating. After the accident, the assessor initially decided to write off my vehicle and sent it to Mandos. The vehicle was also assessed through Finesse Panelbeaters, but because the quotation was apparently too high, the decision suddenly changed. Instead of properly writing off the vehicle, it was then sent to East Coast Customs for repairs at what appears to have been an unrealistically low repair cost. The repairs done by East Coast Customs were unacceptable. The vehicle was returned with missing parts, poor workmanship, and even basic components such as the headlights not functioning properly. The car is clearly not restored to a proper roadworthy condition. Throughout this ordeal, there has been little to no assistance, communication, accountability, or urgency from: Gencom Insurance Blue Crane Insurance Brokers New National Assurance Company The appointed assessor No one seems willing to take responsibility for the poor handling of this claim or the condition in which the vehicle was returned. As a paying client, I expected professionalism, transparency, and proper repairs. Instead, I have experienced delays, conflicting decisions, poor workmanship, and complete lack of support. I would not recommend any of these companies based on my experience. If anyone has advice on how to escalate this matter further or deal with these companies effectively, your guidance would be appreciated.
