Extremely disappointed with Dial•a•Bed Hillcrest. We were recommended a Forty Winks bed and spent over R18 000, only to find that the bed caused severe lower back and shoulder pain. I had restless nights tossing and turning from discomfort. After reporting the issue, we made use of the so-called “100 Night Sleep Guarantee” less than a week later. Instead of helping us properly, the salesperson once again convinced us to take another Forty Winks bed, which required us to pay in even more money. Over R26 000 later, I now wake up in tears every morning from the pain. We have tried everything — adding extra foam toppers, adjusting the setup, and repeatedly going back to the store for help. Every time we go to Dial•a•Bed Hillcrest, our salesperson is apparently “on leave” and nobody assists us. I am a salon owner and work on my feet all day, so sleep and proper support are extremely important for my body. Honestly, my previous R5 000 bed was far better than this one. It has only been 5 months and I genuinely cannot take another sleepless, painful night. In my experience, the “100 Night Sleep Guarantee” feels completely misleading. I would strongly advise others to do thorough research before being persuaded into purchasing a Forty Winks bed.
