I placed an order online on Monday 4 May 2026. As this order included Drywall sheets I needed it delivered at the end of the week as it has been raining and I have nowhere to store the sheets if it rains. I also needed to request a truck under 2 tonnes as I live in a complex and need to adhere to their rules. There is no option to add a note on checkout, so I was unable to add these comments. I called Builders customer service the same day to request them to deliver it later in the week, however after spending more than 20 minutes on the phone the customer service agent could not get through to the store. I then emailed Builders and received a reply that they had tried to call me, however when I checked my phone there were no missed calls and I am still waiting for a response to my email reply. After I received a confirmations SMS regarding my order on Tuesday, I called the number on the SMS and was told that my request had been noted, only to receive a call a few hours later that the truck was outside my gate. I was informed that they only have 4 tonne trucks and could I not arrange collection, also that the people doing the delivery could not carry anything more than 10 meters. If I had a vehicle and the manpower to load & unload the goods I would have collected it myself. I then received a call again today (7 May) confirming the delivery an reiterating that they are not allowed to carry the items more than 10 meters. In addition to the above, when shopping online it states that delivery for orders over R500 is free, however as per the Ts&Cs this excludes items such as to, quote their site, "Timber, Boards & sheeting, Shelving, Cement, Bricks, Stones, Sand & Premixes, Concrete Products, Roofing, Reinforcing steel, Metal Sections, Postform tops, Glass & Putty, Fencing, Wheelbarrow ladders & Tresles". In other words the items that the vast majority of customers cannot collect themselves. The whole experience was unpleasant and it is not the 1st time I have received terrible service from Builders, however it the last time I do business with Builders, even if this means travelling further to find another store or paying more for the items.
My contract is due for upgrade & Cell C keep calling me to upgrade my contract despite me telling them to stop calling me and remove me from their database, as per the law. The last time they phoned me, they put me on hold when I answered the call. This is not the 1st time I have had a issues with them calling me to sell me something and it has got to the point where they have lost me as a customer after more than 25 years.
I have been trying to port my VOIP number to another service provider since 11 August 2023. My VOIP service is with Axxess, but the number is being serviced by Telkom. Axxess cannot seem to able to resolve what should be a simple issue. This is has wasted hours of my time and the time of my new service provider. I
The movie Contagion that is to be air on Sunday 05 April is inappropriate considering the Covid-19 pandemic. Many people are already concerned and this will make them more stressed. I only saw this being advertised today 4 April and there was not able to call the SABC. I was not able to log a complaint on their website.
I have used Riaan's Auto Repairs several times in the past, and was always impressed with their service. The fact that they have someone in the office that understands cars makes it easier to book a service, and that they do a full check on your car, alerts you to issues you may not be ware of. They do work on your car just to make extra money, if they do not need to do anything they will tell you. Last week they went out of their way to assist my mother with some serious issues with her car, going beyond what was expected of them.
They tried calling me on my work phone, When I looked up the number I found all the reviews from other people people that were once with Nashua mobile &\or Altech Autopage. Since mu Altech contract ended in Feb 2015 and these companies closed between 2014 & 2016 it does not make sense that I would owe money to a company that no longer exists. What also does no make sense is how they got my work number & why they called me that number... I do not have any outstanding debt, loans or accounts.
