I have had my OK account for the last 12 months approx without missing a payment... February they didn't debit me as per normal when funds where there in the account, a week lapses without them debating and I call they tell me that they can give me a reference number to pay cash the account, now I work in ITC and automatically I know I will be listed. So in the month of March, I decided to pay the settlement amount, so I went directly in store and requested it and paid it in full on the 25th March. On the 27th I get a paid up letter that confirmed that the account is closed. Yesterday I check my credit report and see that they listed me with arrears despite settling the account before my actual debit date. I immediately send Lerato Mongane an email with an email of concern, no apology, no acknowledgement of their error just a simple ' This will be rectified after 21 working days'. I absolutely loathe the service from this furniture store and I recommend everyone against it. There is no accountability. Most months you will call and ask when they will debit you and that phone will ring until you turn blue in the face. I want those arrears removed on my profile asap.
