I bought a Toyota 4liter V6 engine, I was promised a tested low mileage imported engine, when I installed the engine it started but misfired and died, how was it tested ? we had to replace the entire timing kit and camshaft gears to fix the problem, the engine was still under a 1 month guarantee but Reddy’s only contributed a fraction of the costs to me for the repairs, less than 2 months later the engine developed a loud knocking sound and the engine started shuddering so violently that it could be felt through the steering wheel, Toyota’s technician informed me it clearly indicates to a seized bearing and damaged crank, it most probably requires another engine replacement or full rebuild, this problem is not expected for a low milieage engine ? Reddy’s told me my month guarantee has expired, this is not in line with the CPA Act, I informed Reddy’s, am awaiting their feedback currently
