I purchased 2 sets of the Forty Winks Activ Flex Motion beds with the Liyah Winged headboard. The cost of both sets were close to R100 000. Upon receipt of the headboard we found that the headboard did not base did not fit correctly against the headboard and there is a huge gap between the two. I called and was told to come in to discuss the matter. I went in twice to explain my situation. Note that the bed and base was sold under advi*****t of the manager and floor staff. When I went in for the second time I was then told to send pictures so that the matter could be escalated to the supplier. I sent the pictures(proof available) and was told to come in. I then went in again and was told that the supplier would visit my premises to view the bed. This never happened. I did all of this and five months later I am told by the store manager that the supplier indicates that there is nothing that can be done. I was told I would be given a pillow to fit into the huge gap between the Headboard and base. I did not pay a huge amount of money to receive substandard quality items. It is almost impossible to sit against the Headboard as there is a huge gap between the two. At night we have to fill the gap with small pillow or else our main pillows fall into the gap. I am hugely disappointed at the service received from the store for a problem that is clearly theirs. I am requesting an escalation of the matter and a refund.
