I had a mixed experience with Herman from Eazi Real Estate. Initially, he was helpful and responsive throughout the viewing and offer process. However, the experience changed drastically once the sale was finalised. Several issues came to light within days of handover: 1. We identified lifting floors within 12 days of moving in. Although the agent verbally acknowledged the issue at the time, he later denied the interaction when I raised it formally. 2. The brand-new built-in oven was missing all internal racks and the seller refused to replace or pay for part of the R640 cost. 3. Only a single key and remote was provided for all doors including Trellidoors and electric entrance gate, leaving us with a R2000 security cost. When we attempted to resolve these reasonably, the agent shifted entirely to protecting the seller’s interests, ignoring previous verbal assurances. Advice to future buyers: Do not rely on verbal agreements or the perceived "helpfulness" of the agent. Document every single observation—no matter how small—via email or WhatsApp immediately. Ensure you open every appliance and check every key before signing off, as the support ends the moment the commission is secured.
I requested a callback from MotorHappy after seeing positive recommendations online. I was called by Sipho on 25 March at 09:25, but the experience was unpleasant. Sipho rushed through the details to the point where I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times just to take notes. When he provided a quote that was higher than expected, he immediately tried to end the call rather than acting as a consultant. I wanted to discuss adjusting the 5-year term or exploring alternatives to lower the premium, but his impatience made it impossible. This was a very poor introduction to the brand. Disappointing service when I was genuinely looking to buy.
