MKEM clinic has always been our trusted go-to clinic for our two young children, but not anymore. Yesterday, I was told that my youngest son can not receive two of his three outstanding vaccines because he is 'too old' for them, however upon getting a second opinion from a trusted nurse at a different practice, I'm told she can definitely assist us. It's not always about friendly service, but KNOWLEDGABLE service. Luckily, I based my suspicion that the nurse is incorrect on the fact that her attitude didn't seem quite right. The more questions I asked about the vaccines the more defensive and full of attitude her responses became. Red flag for doubt to enter my mind immediately. I'm sincerely hoping in the buy over of MKEM, that Clicks didn't decide to 'let go' the trusted long-standing nurses that worked there under MKEM, when QUALITY service could be expected. Sad to see yet another South African business’s reputation decline after corporate control enters.
