Claim not being paid
Clearly the only way to get gems attention is to make noise about it as their agents struggle 90 percent of the time to solve the queries on the call I submitted a claim for my child which is on chronic gems is refusing to pay the claim stating that the Auth was done on the 13th of April yethu the doctor had submitted a chronic request for medication on the 29th of march ,gems please pay back the medication that was approved on the auth for my dependent 5

Chronic medication not approved.
I am honestly out of word when it comes to this medical aid scheme my child was born with a heart condition the doctor loads the chronic medication on my child's behalf does the medical aid no go on and reject this medication what's worse is my childs cardiologist was not informed I was informed simply because I followed up .the gems agent further tells me plan is on the lower end and this condition is not PMB or chronic yet the condition q21.1 is PMB .I am so gatvol of this scheme honestly a bunch of ****mers

I have been waiting for them to call still silences regarding a co payment that has been imposed yet the icd codes given clearly state that I have previous uterine scaring oh this is the most useless medical ****s of all time

I don't know wether to laugh scream or cry I previously had a c section done on my first child now gems is telling me I must pay a co payment of R10000 yet I have had a previous scarring from my first pregnancy ,I am so tired of this **** of a medical aid
