I cancelled my health insurance policy and received written confirmation that the final premium deduction would be on 31 March 2026. Despite this clear written confirmation, another premium was deducted from my bank account on 30 April 2026. This is unacceptable. I expect an immediate refund of the incorrect deduction and confirmation that no further debits will occur. I have all written proof of the cancellation and the confirmation of the final debit date. Please resolve this urgently.
My husband moved our insurance from Auto & General to MiWay. We never received a contract, who must tow the car, etc. etc. Over the weekend my computer monitor was damaged. Monday we put a claim in for it as I work from home and desperately need the monitor. Today, Wednesday my husband was told that they are not going to replace the monitor as they don't pay for monitors, but for TV's. Replacing the monitor is small money, it's not something major and much cheaper than replacing a TV. It is the worst service I have ever received from an insurance broker, the worst. We have never claimed for anything on insurance and now that I desperately need the insurance they decline one small claim. This is what MiWay promise to pay "All risk insurance with MiWay: All-Risk Insurance covers all your personal possessions that are portable; these include laptop computers, electronic notebooks, iPhones, smartphones, iPods, cell phones, sunglasses and other items on-the-go." - an Iphone, smartphone, laptop, notebooks, etc. are much more expensive to replace than a computer monitor. I will not recommend MiWay to anybody and our insurance is moving elsewhere very quickly. I don't even want to give one star!
