Beware doing business with Morne Koch & Merino Legacy

I placed and paid for a bulk order of medical-grade sheepskins with Morne Koch (trading as Merino Legacy) in August 2024, in good faith. Despite consistent follow-ups over many months, and countless excuses, my order remains incomplete as of July 2025 and the payment has not been refunded. In addition, the quality of a previous batch was substandard - Ive had to issue refunds to my own customers due to poor finishing. Morne refused to replace or refund those items, and communication since then has deteriorated entirely. He and his son, Corne Koch, were given every opportunity to resolve this respectfully - including offers of alternative solutions and a formal letter of demand. There has been no meaningful response. I now appear to have either been blocked on social media or their Facebook presence has been removed or deactivated. This has been a costly, distressing, and disruptive experience. I am sharing this review to protect others from similar harm. Proceed with caution if engaging with this business.
