I have ordered a fun cart but have not received it The website says it will be processed in 3 days and shipped in 7 It’s 7 days today and I’ve received no communication from them at all since my order was placed and payed for I’ve tried contacting them via the website but no response again
I purchased a Genesis Hydrovac, as advertised. the machine is not supposed to loose suction power and it did, so I sent it to the store. The machine needed a filter replacement once as per the Pietermaritzburg store. I replaced the filter. Then the machine suddenly started smoking. I sent it back to the store and they needed to send it away to the repairs centre which I authorized and it was sent away. This was on the 4th of Feb I had to keep calling their store for updates on the machine. The excuses were stock take and can’t get hold of the repairs department. I took the number and called myself. I managed to get through to them and explained that it was already almost a month and no feedback. The technician was supposed to look into the matter and never called me back. Again I called them, this time I tried explaining to them that I have an 8 month old baby in the house and my carpets have not been vacuumed. I then called again for a quotation for a repair as I couldn’t find the slip and the store apparently can’t keep record of every machine sold. The technician said he will send me a proper quotation which I can obviously accept or reject but gave me a rough value of R900-1000 repair I explained to him that I will be away for a few days and I will need the quotation asap to approve the repair I still have not received a quotation. I then went in store yesterday to purchase a brand new machine as my carpets were now filthy and need a deep clean. I purchased the genesis Hydrovac extreme and was apparently ‘the last machine in store’ at 5pm. When I went home the machine was broken. One wheel was cracked. When I called the store today the lady said she doesn’t have another one in store but she can try to get me another wheel. While trying to explain my NEED for a vacuum machine and my story about my previous machine and baby safety she starts defending the store and rattles off about how many times they’ve tried calling me. Not even giving me a chance to explain that I was not around and I did tell that to the repair people. Eventually I told her she needs to either replace the new machine or even the wheel today or get a manager to call me. Magically another machine found its way to the store which they are happily replacing and through some miracle my old machine has been repaired and is also ready for collection at the store after being repaired at a cost of R900. So after spending R5500 on a new machine, wasting my precious time, energy and phone calls during the fasting month it turns out, my old one is in perfect working order sitting at the same store I purchased from. Amazing!!! The service is pathetic Repairs: pathetic Communication: pathetic Staff: pathetic Empathy: Zero Sales excellent….anything for a quick buck
