Constant unsolicited calls. I have asked numerous times to be removed from their database, but I continue receiving calls, asking me about a fictitious vehicle finance application that I was supposed to have made.
This has to be the worst customer experience one can have. Has anyone ever tried sending an email to Afrihost, or talking to someone on the phone? They are quick to take your money, but useless at providing a service. I asked for something to be done, and after 3 weeks it seems they simply abandoned me, and I have now approached a competitor, and three days later my problem was resolved. It can be done, but not by Webafrica. Jirre ouens! Catch a wake-up!!!!
Web Africa customer support is utterly useless. It is the most frustrating experience you can have. I have been trying for over a month to get an answer from them, but nothing. Their chatline is useless, as you sit and wait for hours, and when eventually someone comes along to help you simply get passed on to another department, and the waiting starts again. They are quick to take your money, but service is useless. Stay far away.
Once again Drive has proven to me how callous and cold they are. Their systems for the recording of kilometers does not stand up to scrutiny, and they use this to **** people out of money. I have had a running battle with them on this. This month, over and above the rental, another R5000 debit was taken off my account without notice. I have no idea what this is for. The car broke down during January 2025 and at the time of writing, is still in the agent's workshop. I have hardly had use of the vehicle during the month and have now had to pay in excess of R12 000 for the month of January. It is ridiculous. You just cannot win with these guys, and I am now tired of them. This has not been a good relationship at all. They just take without asking or warning, or any notice. I will collect the car from the agents on Monday and arrange for it to be returned to Drive as soon as possible.
