Title: Standard Bank holding my money – no assistance after multiple attempts I am extremely frustrated with Standard Bank and the lack of assistance regarding an unresolved issue on my account. On 31 March, an authorisation amount of R229.38 from Pick n Pay ASAP was placed on my account. The final transaction of R323.42 has already been processed, however the remaining authorisation amount has still not been released. It has now been well over 7 working days, exceeding the standard 3–5 working day release period. I have: - Sent emails with no resolution - Called multiple times, only to be transferred between departments - Been told to speak to the “digital team”, with no actual assistance received No one is taking ownership of this issue, and my money is still being held with no clear explanation. This is unacceptable service. I am now formally requesting that Standard Bank urgently: 1. Manually release the stale authorisation of R229.38 2. Provide confirmation once this has been done If this is not resolved promptly, I will escalate the matter further through the relevant regulatory channels. I expect urgent feedback and resolution.
I don’t usually complain, but today’s experience with Pick n Pay ASAP was honestly too much. I placed my order at 16:29, expecting it between 17:30–18:00. Cool. But next thing, I’m waiting… and waiting… and waiting. No updates, no driver, nothing. I eventually call the call centre, only to find out there were FOUR failed delivery attempts. Four. And not even one message to tell me what’s going on. They give me the driver’s number, I call him, and he says he’s still going to the store to collect my order. 30 minutes later, I call again, and he tells me he can’t deliver anymore because he has a puncture. So that’s the fifth failed attempt. By the time all this happened, it was already 19:40, and I still had no order. I’ve been waiting since half past four.
It’s such a pity how Steve Madden heels look so cute and ***y, yet the quality doesn’t match the appearance. With every wear, the charms on the shoes go missing — and you don’t even notice it happening until afterwards. By then, the shoe has already lost its charm and appeal. Very disappointing for such a stylish brand.
Worst communication, rude staff, never does follow ups and never attends to their calls, you will log a 100 tickets with no response.
The driver handled the order so poorly the food came damaged. One cup of mashed potatoes was spilled all over the meat. The paper bag was soaked and everything was just leaking
I ordered a simple pizza from Debonairs Total Morula, and it took over 3 hours to be completed. This is beyond unacceptable for a fast-food restaurant. Extremely disappointing!
