On Thursday the 09th of April 2026, we traveled from OR Tambo to King Shaka. They gladly check in our firearms. Upon return on Sunday the 12th of April 2026, their manager Vegashen refused to check in our firearms and also refused to refund us so that we could use and alternative airline. We had to pay for new tickets and use SAA, which gladly checked in our firearms. Lift Airlines is the worst airline in terms of customer service I have ever experienced. I will never use it in my entire life and would definitely not recommend it for anyone.
I used the ba*****t parking at sammy square just before 10H00 on the 3rd of October 2024. When I pressed the access machine it had indicated that the printer is mulfuntioning. However, the boom opened for me to enter and I thought to myself maybe the system has changed, in that it could be that there is a cctv detection system that captures vehicles. I parked my vehicle and rushed to my 10H00 appointment. Upon my return just before 10H30 at the exit point I encountered a man by the name of Paul who said that he is the supervisor. I explained what had happened and then he said that I had lost my ticket and had to pay R100 instead of the R25 I would have had to pay. I explained to him that his machine is the one that did not issue the ticket and that is not my problem. He asked me why I did not return after parking an tell the cashier that I did not get a ticket. I told him why should I have parked and walked such a distance to the cashier for an internal problem of theirs and why did they not put a notice to say if the machine does not print clients must inform the cashier. We argued for almost 30 minutes, resulting in further wasted time. I paid the R100 and told him and his female colleague that he must know that he had ****** me of R75 and there would be consequences.
