I had a very disappointing experience with Lerato from Luxe Living Realty. I was placed in a unit without being informed that there were outstanding levy issues affecting the electricity meter. From the first day I moved in, I was unable to buy electricity, and my children and I ended up living without electricity for almost 7 weeks. Communication from Lerato was extremely poor throughout the process. Messages and calls often went unanswered, and I constantly had to follow up myself for updates. Promises were made that the issue would be resolved “within 24 hours,” but nothing happened for weeks. During this time, my family suffered financially, emotionally, and physically. We spent extra money on food, transport, charging devices, borrowed money, trying to survive under difficult conditions. My children and I also became sick during this period. To date, I have still not been compensated for the losses and inconvenience caused by this situation. I have formally escalated this matter to the PPRA and the Rental Housing Tribunal, and I am still awaiting feedback and resolution. I strongly discourage anyone from dealing with this property agency or agent. I also encourage future tenants to ask detailed questions and ensure all unit accounts and utilities are properly verified before moving into any property managed through this agent.
The third party is service is bad here in this company. I was involved in a 4 car accident on the 3rd of Oct. The Toyata rumion bumped into me while I was stationery at the robot awaiting for the green light to come on for me. The accident was actually caused by the taxi which looked like he skipped the red robot as the White Toyota Rumion was turn in. It was hit and spinned all the way to hit me where I was standing at the robot. I was given details of the insurance by the owner of the Toyota Rumion to submit the claim. I submitted my claim of which I was told that Mbali Magazi will attend to my claim. Apparently Mbali sent me an email with details which I missed as it had landed on my spam box. However a follow up by the Company called Straighthough was done via Whatsapp and the needed pictures of the damages from the accident. I did forward them to them and they followed up with the list of documentation I need to get and submit so they can process my claim. I've done that got all the necessary documentation and submitted. After I followed up few days later and asked for Mbali as she is my contact I was told she was busy and I complained that since the claim was submitted Mbali has not contacted me not even once. And the lady told me about the email. I checked it found it on my span. Nonetheless I still expressed my disappointment at the fact that since I am not their client they are not taking this matter seriously and the lady Apologised. At the time I was talking to Sebenzile and she asked me to forward all documents to her as well including the full accident report. I did do that. Days went by and the was no feedback still. I made another call and to my surprise that day Mbali answered the phone, gave her my reference and she then delivered the news that they won't be covering for them damaged and repairs of my car. AS THE TAXI CAUSED THE ACCIDENT AND NOT THEIR CLIENT. BUT TO BE FAIR. I WAS NOT HIT BY THE TAXI, YES THE TAXI CAUSED THE ACCIDENT BUT IT DIDN'T BUMP INTO ME. unfortunately that's the news that I received that day. I would like to know who do I complain about this matter. This is my only means of Transport and I take my kids to school with it every single day. The car is getting more and more damaged as a result of that accident. I have a cracked windscreen, a flat tyre because my Rim was damaged my suspension is also out and alignment. These are things that keeps on happening since the accident happened. I taken good care of my car all along and now this. And who is held liable of the person that caused the damages cannot be held responsible. My kids and my mom were in the car that day it happened. They were pretty shaken up with the trauma of this accident. I've been driving the same car for 16 years and never gotten into the accident. It's sad to know and see that I could end up with no car as a result of people and company that don't want to take ownership when their client took responsibility of what happened. I wasted my time going up and down get all documents they needed when they new from the beginning that they wre going to decline my claim. Can anyone advise of the best route to take to get this sorted before sending to the Ombudsman. Tx.
This company has bad service Flycool/Vumatel. I have been battling with my home internet WIFI since Friday 16/08/24 evening. Lodge a query with them Saturday morning. In the first place. To get to the right channel was a mission. After I have received assistance and feedback to say Technician are working on the problem. They are constantly sending the same feedback when I enquire. Mind you it is Monday today 19/08/24. I work from home and I do not have internet. I am not happy with their service. It's almost half of the day and still no contact from them. How do we even recommend a company that does have systems in place to assist their customers when in need.
