My wife was in an accident on the 7th of May. Today is the 22 and the claim is not resolved. I have been phoning the number given to me but it never gets answered. I have send emails it doesn't get answered so this is my last attempt in getting hold of someone that WORKS for Discovery my next mail will be to the ombudsman. On the morning off the accident a tow truck was send from Klerksdorp to come and load the car. The accident happened approximately 58km from Rustenburg. When I called to query this discussion I was told the location that they have is 60 km out of Klerksdorp. Thanks to Father YHWH my wife did not receive any injuries. My question is what would have happened if she was injured and needed urgent medical attention? YOU WOULD HAVE SEND THE AMBULANCE TO THE WRONG LOCATION! The best is that I received an email stating that I insured the car as an 2016 model and in fact it was a 2015 model. How come they can overlook this detail for the time I was paying for the insurance? If I was under insured what would have happened then? In Desember I update my schedule and wanted an assessor to come and see what the correct value of my ho content is. I was told they only send someone out if I am insured for more than 1.5mil so I raised my home content thinking if the value is less than 1.5mil I will be able to insure for the correct amount after the assessor was here. I am still waiting for that assessor. There is 0 communication. This is one of those instances that I can not complain about the service... Cause there is none.
