I have been with Old Mutual for 7 years now. Late last year, I received a call from one of the consultants who was conducting a customer profile check to ensure that all my details were still correct. To my surprise, I discovered that a **** profile had been created using my stepmother's details, including her ID number. It is important to note that I do not have a stepfather. I find it alarming that a male and a female could have the same ID number, and it is concerning that this oversight went unnoticed. I have been in contact with the Forensic department regarding this matter for the past 5 months. I made a call this morning, and the issue was escalated. I have been informed that I should receive a call by tomorrow. My reference number for this case is HUBESC7871164. I want to express my frustration by stating that I believe Old Mutual is involved in *****ulent activities. I need this resolved ASAP!!
