My second complain regarding previous review. Lewis wants to now give me a new set of leather seats as they could not, after a year, fix my new seats that only lasted a month. With a long struggle with Lewis they decided to replace the whole set But I need to pay R2500 to get the new set. Oh wow as I bought the seats cash. They put me through a very long suffering for a year. I could not even entertain guest. My life was put on hold. Lots and lots of phone calls with most of the time no reply. Now I need to pay R2500 to replace something I received broken? This is not making any sense. Never will I ever buy at Lewis or recommended people to do so as their after service and care is non existing. So this problem continues Another battle to fight and I'm a pensioner and not always well to do so.
Very bad online service from De Jagers. Everytime I order online I recieve no feedback regarding my online order and how long or how far it is. When I contact them regarding my order only then they tell me why the hold up. After three to four weeks I must find out items was or is not in stock and will not be delivered. I don't understand why is items showing online when I order and only finding out three weeks down the line it is not available. By that time I could have ordered with another retail company. And after delivering only partial of my order I have to wait another month before refunding me. I will definitely not order again online. Only reason for me ordering is because of not having time to go shopping in town and last time I visited Oudtshoorn branch they were busy with stock taking and not much items on the floor. Such a waste of petrol driving there as well is precious time.So yes Im still waiting for refund and voucher they wanted to give me for all this trouble but it is to long now waiting on my R 800 refund.
Very bad service from Lewis stores Last year I bought nice brown leather seats cash. After awhile I saw that the one seater was giving problems Then the three seater I contacted the Lewis stores were I bought the set. They told me to make contact with the Head branch in Cape Town. After a whole lot of struggle Months went by Lots of phone calls they came to get only one seater but stated over the phone they wil take the whole set, but did not. This year September only they came for the one seater Three seater still giving problems. It's almost a year What is sad is that I bought the set cash for Christmas My savings I took to buy myself this present But it is now only giving me heartache as I can not use the set and must sit on beach chairs. I do not invite guest to visit as I am ashamed and can not let them sit on beach chairs. Struggle continues as I am hoping and waiting so they can fix the whole set for my I am so disappointed in Lewis and will never in my life shop there again Sad part is that my black leather set I also bought by them before this one but never again.
