Active since Aug 2023
I arrived at King George Emergency on Wednesday the 23 August 2023 as I was newly diagnosed as a diabetic and my sugar was very high. Their staff in emergency was nice and did everything to assist me and to bring my sugar down. I got admitted into the ward. On the 24th to be monitored and thaught how to use insulin and speak to a dietishan. Today is the 26th and in still here. I'm not feeling well, my sugar has rocketed up again. The doctors keep changing insulin some of the nurses don't care. 2 young women have died in my presence because of neglection from nurses and day shift doctors. Dayshift doctors rush off, without completing thier job and leaving thier work for the night shift staff. As dibetics we need to eat when we hungry, last night a Gogo almost died as her sugar was at 1.0 because the night shift staff denied her food. To make matters worse the night shift group for the 25th of August, Is asking us what is wrong with her!😐 Like what the hell, read her file! The other patients had to tell them to check her sugar! But this night shift staff sat whole night on their phones and video calling instead of seen to us patiences I've been on different insulins and my sugar is not coming down at all. My kidneys are sore other problems are coming up which I didn't have,I feel dizzy all the time. There is no care what's so Eva here. The dietishan hasn't even seen me as yet and I got told she don't work on weekends. She's the only 1 for the whole hospital. What kind of service is this? We suppose to be getting better in the wards instead we coming to wards to die because of neglection. Are these people called nurses and doctors are even what they say they are? Are they only good for the title and salary.
