I would just like to compliment Dr K.Arends (MBCNB-0835579) for her amazing service she rendered on 10/11/2025 the trauma unit was literally full and she worked alone in the paediatric ec ward (nightshift)and all of was seen by Dr Arends alone. Really amazing service we have received.
Department of Labour - UIF ClaimsOn the 06/10/25 i have app**** for uif claim ,which i submitted my updated details to the branch in Mitchell's plain Cape Town Western Cape. My claim was approved with out my details being updated .On the 21/10/25 Went to query about my details and it was told to me it would take 7 days to update .22 /10/25 Bank Details was unpdated 23/10/25 Did payment request status showed submitted 28/10/25 Status showed payment reserved 30/10/25 Got an correspondence email stated that my first payment was done i need to wait 7-14 working days .03/11/25 checked my online status again it showed There is a concern with your previous payment request. So at this point im really fed up ive been contacting the the call centre and they can not even give feedback as to the matter or the call gets cut ..which no one will contact you and say there is an error or whats so ever . Till this day 07/11/25 still nothing no communication and they doing an investigation on my claim .

To whom it may concern at Touchin Nations ,I being a previous employee who wanted to reapply was declined by new procedure/requirements to have matric ,which i have the relevant experience and even more to do the job , They limiting new and old employees to have a matric certificate which that woould not determine your work ethic where you could do much better with or without a matric certificate. The way the Hr handled the situation when i followed up was very unprofessional and rude ,the miscommunication within their office as well as Mrs Le Fleurs feedback which they keep saying they need matric regardless of the experience so if they do get someone with matric would they have the relevant ?
I've app**** for uif at the Mitchell's Plain cape town western cape branch in the month of September waited my waiting period of 20 days for them to approve my claim ,claim has been approved waited my 7-14 days for payment ,yet I don't receive a payment after my waiting period only to get my first payment in the month of December, went to sign again in the month of January waited again my 7-14 days still didn't get my payment went back to the branch only to be told I need to wait another 14days yet no payment, once again I go back to be told I need to reapply due to another company being added for claim ,which I did bare in mind I need to wait another 20 days for approval of claim went back to the branch to be told once again to wait another 14 days Which I am very irritated by the level of service a person receives from the department of labour Mitchell's Plain, I've contacted Mr Ngubo Lubelwana and he couldn't even assist me to simply reply to an email ,countless times of calling the branch but their phones just ring ,whom ever may see this of the Department of Labour please advise on my situation. Thank you
I would like to express how disgusted I am for the way my provident fund application is being handled . My papers I've submitted the 15th march 2024 to Sandra Barthis by Head Office as she was the one communicating with me via email . She then advised the papers is wrongly signed and then I re-submitted the papers the 18th of March 2024. Then I followed up the 11tyb April again to find out what's happening and Sandra Barthis again advised I need to wait 8 weeks!! Which I understood . 8 weeks has passed and didn't get any of my provident funds and then I called in to Sandra Barthis and was advised again that she forgot to send off my paper works to MMG . At this point I'm livid already and I as the consumer and ex employee has to do all the follow ups and back and forth . Then I called MMG and the lady Kgomotso advised there no paper work submitted from Sandra of PNP. I then had to borrow money to get enough airtime and data to make phone calls and check my emails just because of Sandra's negligence not prioritizing my application . Then I called in to PNP Head office again and spoke to a Lucille then Sandra and then another lady who apparently worked in Finance department I didn't get her name and started getting all sarcastic with me and frustrated for me as a ex employee asking the right questions as to what is taking so long with my provident fund money . Then I hear by sars I had to get my father to drive me to Sars on the 09th May 2024 @13:00 the afternoon to rush to Sars in promenade Mitchell's plain before they close and more money to borrow for petrol as the car does not run on water . And to find out by sars Sandra Barthis submitted someone else's tax number under my I'd nr hence why when I called MMG when I couldn't understand why someone else's name is picking up on the system under my identity number. I am so livid ...I emailed the document that was printed by Sars to email to Sandra then to find out she blocked my email address . And had to send the document to Sandra Barthis via my sister's email address and went through !!! I am disgusted by the service and lack of communication I want to be re-imbursed for the calls and data with petrol money I had to borrow to solve this on my own . Yesterday ,on the 9th May 2024 I received a email from a Mavis from MMG who advised she is busy processing my claim . So my question is how long will I be waiting again another 8 weeks from yesterday's date the 09th May 2024. I want someone in higher authorities /Management to get in contact with me as this is unacceptable!
