Pysch - Mental health days
I stayed in pysch for the first time. Before going to his I had seen a pyschologist. I had no idea that this is interlinked. I am going to serious issues and need more days. Issues Iike Gbv, assault and may more. We pay a good amount for our medical aid and have never used pysch before. I am extremely disappointed by the poor service and inconsideration regards what a woman faces from Gbv. My 14 year overdosed because of Gbv in the home. Have some compassion for our mental health.

Mental health days not enough
On the 11th of May 2026, I was admitted I to durdoc Pysch. This was my first time. I knew that mental health was 21 days. I stayed for 10 day and would have 11 days. I was told now that it is intertwined with the 15 pyschologist consults. I used 7 outpatient consulting not knowing how this works. I have never used this in the 15 years in on medical aid. I am dealing with immense stress , domestic violencegbv, assault and attempted ****, as my husband brought in a black male to **** me. I need alot more days hospital. I am barely making it. My 14 year old took a over on the 2nd of May. My 9 year is autistic. Please we pay for a good medical aid and don't use All the benefits. I'm sure 21 will heal me to be a good and stable mother. As my husband is a alcoholic and has untreated bipolar. My kids have been traumatized.

Account debited for a canceled policy
My policy was canceled however my account was still debited. On that day I desperately needed the money. I had it to pay the Uber to go to maintenance court. Everything I try calling the call center the wait is too long. I need the money urgently.

No response from Diiscovery regarding chronic health problems
My husband has taken medical for my family , we are on it since 2011. We have the LA health, LA active plan. Earlier this year my daughter, was diagnosed with scoliosis of her lumbar spine as well as spina bifida. Our funds are exhausted already as we had to take my daughter for an Mri, xrays etc. My husband and I liased with discovery trying to get approval of her brace on chronic, as her condition would need her to wear it till she stops growing. Right now her body is curved so badly that it looks like an S. Discovery clinical has replied back to us, saying that we should send documents, we have sent them so many times. I'm am super upset with the service that I received from Discovery. This is my daughters well being, she is only 10 years old, the sooner she gets the brace the better for her.
