I bought a used Ford Ranger D/C from them. After almost 4 months, I have not yet received a service book with the full service history. I also did not know about or needless to say receive keys for the spare wheel lock. Just imagine my frustration when I had to use the spare wheel. Besides that, I had to put the vehicle through the test and wait almost 2 months for the reimbur*****t of all the registration expenses. Avoid them if you can!
Non-existing customer support. Thay only have one way of getting any means of support, their Whatsapp chat or live chat on website, none of it works. I don't get any service, internet is very slow and intermittent and not to the fault of the fibre provider. I just want to cancel and never come back, but it seems impossible to do....
Absolutely no service from Standard Bank Insurance. I have tried to call to register a claim. The automated call centre response kept me on line waiting for a service agent for about half an hour after which I hung up. During the wait, I heard that I should rather use the website, which I did try out. I received a claim number with the promise that someone will call me within 24 hours. This happened on the 23rd of February 2022. After a few days I rang again, waited for 15 minutes and tried to use the email address. I tried 2 of the addresses mentioned. One could not be delivered as it apparently doesn't exist, the other came back with an autoresponse promising to get back to me, again to no avail. I tried calling for a third time, waited for 30minutes and again gave up. Please let me know how on earth should I get a hold of someone to register and process my claim!!
