Just a warning to anyone considering CloudWowX: I joined a free consultation expecting a standard process — such as a demo, trial, or clear upfront pricing before any charges. I was told my requirements could be met using their CRM and chatbot at USD 149 per month, but I needed to pay upfront to activate. Based on this, I agreed to one month only, with the understanding that my maximum risk would be USD 149 if the system did not work. After the call: – I was charged USD 210 via a Stripe link, despite the expected amount being USD 149 – The USD 61 difference was later acknowledged as a “mistake,” of which I agreed to allocate USD 49 once-off toward a custom module – I was then charged a further USD 615 as a “cancellation fee,” despite no Terms & Conditions, subscription agreement, or cancellation policy being presented before payment I was also told additional paid “modules” were required to achieve what was originally discussed. The custom module that was delivered, did not work as expected and is not usable. I was then asked to pay more to fix it. The company has repeatedly stated they are “open to resolving this amicably” and that they “want to see the system running.” In reality, over two months have passed with *no functional service delivered, no progress, and no meaningful resolution*, despite over R13,000 being charged. Despite claims that I “agreed” to services and that work was “completed,” the reality is: – No clear agreement or terms were provided before payment – The delivered module is not functional – No usable system has been provided after 2 months Be cautious: ✔️ Get all terms, pricing, and deliverables in writing before paying ✔️ Do not rely on verbal assurances ✔️ Confirm exactly what is included and what happens if it doesn’t work Sharing this so others can make an informed decision.
