So guys, I posted a review about M-Sure and The Unlimited on Wednesday regarding a claim that was taking forever to register and to get feedback from them, so that was resolved the very same day, happiness. Everybody was phoning me, promising me the world, very next day I received the authorisation letters for the repair work to proceed. So, Mc Carthys Auto Trimmer phoned me, on Thursday to make a booking for Today (Friday, 04/03/22) at 13:30. So I waited and waited and waited around 15:00 I contacted Mc Carthy and a very Friendly and very helpful lady, called Sharon assisted me, the technicians told her at that time that they will be with me within the next 30 min. At 16:00 I phoned them again, cause I was still waiting for them, and the technicians told her they in my street. 16:40 I phoned them again, cause I was still waiting, just to hear that Sharon cannot get hold of anyone at the Durban branch. Eventually just before 17:00, the branch Manager contacted me, apologising for the misunderstanding and guess what guys, they not coming anymore, so now I have to wait till Monday to hear from them again.
In November 2022, I received a call from The Unlimited, offering me additional insurance on both my vehicles, where I can claim for minor dents and scratches every 3 months to the value of R4000. So I waited patiently for the first 3 months to passed, so that I can register my first claim, which I was told that I can get any existing dents & scratches repaired after the first 3 months. So, I followed the process, register my claim, loaded the photos and got feedback that the damages is more than the R4000 available, so I then said okay, leave the one dent and get a quote only on the 2 other areas. Again waited for feedback, constantly following up only to get a reply sorry the quote was wrong, it is now even more as the one area was not included in the first quote, so again I said okay lets just focus on the one area, which was the roof lining to be repaired. I got a personal quote from a supplier in KZN for R750 to have the roof lining replaced. M-Sure got a quote for R4414 which I had to pay in. I accepted the quote anyway, again dead silence no feedback from M-SURE, got a reply after a week, the quote was for CTN Region and they now will have to get a new quote, still waiting guys after 3 weeks, constantly follow ups were made with no joy from any of them at The Unlimited or M-Sure. Please stay away, The Unlimited and M-Sure are quick to debit the amount but very hard to get them to respond to claims. VERY BAD SERVICE.
I am very disappointed with Telkom. First of all it is very hard to get them to contact you because their customer care consultants tell people they cannot phkne out. Secondly i did an upgrade on 26 March 2021 where I cancelled one contract and upgraded the second one. Thridly after i did the upgrade i was called back telling me that the pbone i chose was out of stock after i was told it is available, i then had to change my device, received another call for additional money that had to be deducted from my account for a powerbank money was debited from my account within 24hours. This morning i followed up just to hear there is no upgrade for me under my name, strangle i paid for something that i dont even have and still experience bad customer service with the only answer i got this far is "I dont know". Please guys do not make use of Telkom their services are poor and very bad.
