The staff could use a lesson in customer engagement, I was mostly upset with the complimentary gift given to my fiance and myself. The massage was a R300 deal with a R50 voucher that would be activated after paying an additional R140 for a hot stone massage and Complimentary gift per couple. I was disappointed to find one bathing scrub for my fiance and myself. Atleast be honest about the gifts being advertised not mysterious as if ithe gift would wow the customer. I was not pleased at all.
On the 20th of March 2021 my fiance and I had a horrible experience at the Ocean Basket which is situated at the Pavillion mall in Durban. Firstly the waiters took forever to hand us our menus, customers which arrived after us received theirs quicker. When our platter for two meal finally arrived the fried chips were green and brown in colour and the calamari tasted as if it had sand. The manager failed to control her rude staff I'm never spending money at that establishment ever again.
