This debt collection company is threatening me with legal action for a Vodacom account for 7500 Rands. I am a victim of identity theft as I never took out a contract with Vodacom at all. When I wrote a letter disputing this and requesting documents from Vodocam, Barnard Raaff state that only until I have sent a copy of my identity document with three specimen signatures can the matter be resolved. The letter is my dispute and the Onus lays on VODACOM to show records of this contract that I allegedly took out. Why would someone being a victim of identity theft want to send specimen signatures when they had failed to sen the original contract. Vodacom you are a massive corporation and this is unacceptable. I have requested this Burnard Raaff to send me a copy of their mandate to act on behalf of Vodacom, but they are stating no action taken until my identity document and signatures are sent. Is this not another form of ******ion.
I made a complaint earlier about Vodacom regarding my WiFi being down since last week. They contacted me with the story that open serve needs to fix the issue and on their system it states that open serve has contacted client to schedule an appointment. At this stage I am unsure who is telling the truth. Because I have never received a call from open serve. Openserve treat your customers better. The lack of communication is shocking
I have had an account with Vodacom for Fibre since 2021. On 2 October 2025 at 11 am my wifi has been down. Logged a call same day, received a SR number, promised to attend at my home over the weekend. No one showed up. Spoke to a senior consultant on Sunday who said the problem is with Open serve. Promised to get back to me on Sunday, did not. I had to call again on 6 October, still waiting from both Vodacom and Open serve.
Never ever use North side locksmiths! Morne Laubaschagne and Stef**** are scammers. They scam people with the one time call out fee. I have lodged a case number and I also have their number plate details. I have opened a police case file! Beware we are on to you. You have messed with the wrong person !
I purchased a wooden tv stand from decofurn furniture silver lakes and it was delivered on 5 feb 2021. A day later the back of the tv stand a piece of wood is coming apart. I contacted them and they tell me that I’m the one that damaged it. Now a day later and I damaged it how is that possible. In their terms and conditions it states it will be replaced if there is a fault with it and if a factory fault like a piece of wood is coming apart is my fault then decofurn is selling inferior products. This tv stand is 4300 rand and the person at decofern just wrote to say their drivers said it was fine and I’m at fault. Decofurn has the worst service and I will tell whom ever listens to not buy from them. Their customer service is appalling and no one even took the time to call to actually find out what transpired. I guess the little man is not important for a huge business. Might as well continue supporting small businesses and retailers like Makro who don’t even question the customer who can return within seven days. Shame on you decofurn! Hope your sales drop!
