These people are so unprofessional, ombudsmen need to look into this business. Most terrible and unprofessional experience I've ever had. I hired a small vehicle that cost R290 per day but they did not have any available so they offered and gave me me a Renault Sandero for the price of R290. The vehicle I hired was jerking and stalling with the engine light turning on and off, the hooter wasn't working. When I called them they said I should carry on with my journey or return the vehicle, but I was already 150 KMs away from Durban. I needed to extend by 1 day which was a Friday and they told me that it has to be the whole weekend (3days) because they were closed on weekend, which I did. After making payment for the extension they stated that I would have to pay the price of the Sandero and told them that I couldn't since it was not my fault that they did not have the advertised vehicle. When I returned the vehicle I received an invoice that stated how much deposit would be returned to me, deducting the charge 22 km that I had used above the free ones. They fail to return deposit in time and I had to fight. When the they did return it, it was about R550.00 short. They said they I had been charged the price of the Sandero for the extension which was not fair at all because if they had not made the offer, I would have taken my business elsewhere.
