Hi there! My name is Elize Meyer, 60 years of age and would like to share my experience with you. For the 1st time in my life we went camping at Dube Game reserve the past Easter weekend. The camp itself were very, very full & busy but also absolutely fantastic. What stood out was the friendliness of the staff in spite of the pressure they had to cope with considering so many people there. One day I walked to the dam with my grandson, and on our way back at the bridge where buck - so we had to stop to take pics and watched them. I put my cellphone on die cement wall and watched a little more. After a while we walked back to camp. Upon my arrival, I realized my phone was gone and I could not remember what I did with it. I started to panic as my bank cards, ID & drivers license is in there too. My daughter phoned my number but no answer. I ran back on my tracks right to the dam but could not find it. By this time I was really in a panic. In the interim my daughter once again called my number and someone answered: "Dube ontvangs, hoe kan ek help"? Long story short, one of the lady-cleaners saw my phone on the bridge and went to hand it in @ reception!! How honest of her! I was really astonished as this is a very rare characteristic in SA these days. I obviously rewarded her for her honesty. So to Dube Management - well done for hiring staff competent staff with integrity and so much honesty! We will most certainly be back there in the next few months to come and camp as 'lankstaners'. 👏🏻👏🏻

Staff I've been communicating to was Erica Verwey (admin), Marty Taylor (PI) and Jan (the 'owner') Possibility is that that will just change their Business name and carry on with their *****.

Momentum is not honest and fair to us, their consumers. The financial advisors gets away with the fact that they are not doing what we pay them to do and enriches themselves with commission we pay. Momentum does not take responsibility for their so-called financial advisors' negligence.
If you have an Annuity with Momentum for a couple of years, PLEASE register and log into the website and make sure your investment is actually growing.
Almost 11 years ago I took out an Annuity so I can be financially independent the day I retire. All these years I paid a substantial amount on a monthly basis, never took a payment holiday, never borrowed money from my Annuity so it can grow. Every year there was a 10% increase on my contributions and my broker contacted me and asked me to increase the amount I am saving to ensure there are enough for me when the day come. I never received statements wrt the growth of my annuity, and a friend told me to register onto the website and monitor myself. Big was my shock to see my annuity is worth LESS than what I've paid in over the years. I have contacted my broker several times about the issue, (he agreed telephonically this does not sound right to him either) and after no response received I contacted the Ombudsman, but did not get much assistance here as well. I insist to know what they are going to do to reimburse me on what I've lost over the years, but since February 2020 I am waiting to hear from them on a solution. I want to know what happened to my money, why is it worth less. I feel some brokers just write a policy to get their commissions and never look after the investment. I am so, so disappointed with Momentum.
