I got a pleasant surprise with the quotation, the speed and the quality of work to have my car fixed at Bumper Boys, Alberton. A big word of thanks for a job well done. I recommend Bumper Boys to everybody.
Fast, effective service, competitive pricing and reliable insurance. Thank you Miway for peace of mind
Bad customer relations: My cellphone account with Telkom was in arrears with R 485 for 20 days. Instead of contacting me for an arrangement, I received a threatening letter from NuDebt Management (Pty) Ltd, who made a huge fuss about a small issue. No, Telkom, this is not the way to treats a client who has been with you for many years. I am very disappointed. I am sure the other service providers treat their clients better.
Hellopeter 27 February 2024 Beware of Banxso. They convinced me in a clever way to @invest@ all my savings with them. I filled out a form (I think it was on Instagram) and Andrew from Banxso contacted me, urging me to invest R 4500 to start trading. Initially a made a bit of money and he urged me to invest more to make more profit. I did so and lost my investment. Banxso's solution was (and still is): invest more to recover the losses. In this way I lost all my savings.. If you want to lose everything, Banxso will gladly assist you with that.
Astra Funeral services in Swartruggens / Koster, handled the funeral of Mrs C Wijnbeek (108) in Alberton today. I was most impressed with their professional service. Arranging a funeral over more than 250 kms is no easy task. A great word of thanks to Piet and his team.
Durban's Ricksha bus- tour through various parts of Durban is 'n must-do experience in this city. I took the trip this morning It takes 3 hours in a semi-open double-decker bus. A tour guide highlights interesting places along the route, giving a wealth of information. This service, by Durban Tourism is very reasonably priced. I can strongly recommend it to any visitor to Durban.
I visited Rock 'n Soul restaurant in Alberton on Saturday evening. There I found a friendly atmosphere, delicious food and good value for money. Thank you for a lovely experience. This is worth a visit. P.S. I can recommend their prawn curry
This is my second post about the same problem. On 9 September I received a new Hisense phone from Vodacom as upgrade. Not happy with the phone which allows only one Simcard, I phoned Vodacom on 9 September and asked them to fetch their phone. After many attempts via phone and their Facebook page, I got a few promises and still no action. The smooth-talking person who offered me the contract, is a Mr Jason at Vodacom Direct. It is impossible to contact him via telephone. Vodacom is quick to charge for their services, but hopelessly slow to act. I see that Vodacom uses this tactic to force me into a contract that does not suit my needs. MY ADVICE TO READERS: Avoid using Vodacom- especially :Vodacom Direct", who makes promises without intending to keep it.
Vodacom phoned me and offered an upgrade on my contract. The smooth-talking guy ion the phone assured me that they will collect the phone they are sending if I am not completely happy with it. Two days later, on 9 September, I received a Hisense phone from Vodacom. Realising that this phone does not take two simcards, I phoned Vodacom on 11 September to collect thier phone again. Many calls and facebook-messages later, they still did not collect their phone. This seems to be a deliberate bullying- tactic to force me into a nhew contract with a phone that has very limited use. My advice to readers: Do not accept any deals from Vodacom from someone phoning you. Rather visit your local cellphone shop and deal with honest people.
