The service I received from Ketelkraal was absolutely amazing. From placing my order, to receiving my parcel, they were friendly and helpful and kept me updated. The product is very good quality. I would definately recommend them.
I have a huge complaint regarding service, or rather lack of service I received from Sterns in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre. The incident happened on Sunday, 17 May 2021, around 11:30. I saw a pair of 9ct yellow gold sleeper earrings on your website (please see attached), which I wanted to purchase. When I got to the store, there was a man standing behind the counter and another client that walked in just before me. The person (man), working in the store, did not even look up to acknowledge my presence in the store, never mind greet me. When I asked if there was someone interested in helping me, he said he is busy with the other customer. He then walked to the other lady and helped her. I looked at the earrings on display and saw the ones I wanted was priced at R699, instead of R299 as per the attached photo, advertised on the Sterns website. When I mentioned this to the man, he interrupted me, saying the ones advertised is gold and silver mixed. I wanted to explain to him that the description on the website did not stipulate silver mix, it only said 9ct gold, he interrupted me again, insisting that I was wrong. I don’t argue that I was maybe wrong, but he didn’t even give me a chance to complete my sentences or show him the photo. He just kept interrupting me, saying to me that I am not listening. I then told him to leave it and I walked out of the store. I could hear him talking to another lady who was in the back, about me. At this stage I decided to go back and asked for the manager’s name and number. He again, in another language, talked to someone in the back. I unfortunately understand enough to know that he was talking about me. I told him that I experienced him as extremely rude, at which time he rolled his eyes at me and kept on talking over me, not letting me finish what I am trying to say. As I walked out, I decided to phone the manager (a lady called Nikki) immediately. I understand it was on a Sunday, but I was extremely upset by the way I was treated. I proceeded to tell her what happened, but it sounded to me like she was not really interested. I told her that I was going to complain with Customer Care as well as go to Hello Peter. Any good manager would ask for a chance to resolve it themselves before a client escalates a complaint. However, her response was: “That’s fine”. This is even more unacceptable that the treatment I got from the store.
Went to buy a DSTV decoder. Was greeted at the door by Sello. He was extremely helpful. We found, paid and left with our product in less than 10 minutes. Thank you for great service.
I went to Game Menlyn to buy a DSTV decoder. The staff was extremely unhelpful. Ignored me at first. Then went to ask for assistance. Staff walked away from me without assisting me. Went to another staff member, who was also not helpfull. Told me there was no stock, without even checking the stock. Asked another employee for manager, but they didn't even took me to a manager. Just pointed at an empty desk. Had to look for manager myself. Utmost poor service. Went to House and Home and was assisted in 10 minutes.
