I visited Game stores in the Boulders Shopping Center and one of the items purchased was a Always Home 12 piece set. Upon payment, I asked the cashier that we inspect the product to ensure that all the pieces are in good condition. The cashier, Kamogelo Shai, adviced that it's not her duty to do so. She only assists with payments and nothing else. Said I can go ahead and inspect the product myself. Standing in the queue still, a lady by the of Judy came to my assistance. Inspected the piece to discover that not all pieces of the set were available. She went to get another box, and continued to ensure that I left the store with all pieces intact. The poor quality of delivery service rendered by Kamogelo is disgusting. Her rudeness is shocking, especially as she spoke in front of other customers. I do not, at any level, see myself walking into Game stores, and especially at the Boulders. Kamogelo has not only ruined the stores name but she has also degraded it. I have since then been calling your customer care number with no answer. I have left a automated message and till today, no one has responded to me. Highly disappointed, Lee Masekela
On the 05/03/20, I went into Old Mutual Greenstone to cancel my 2 year old policy & was assisted by Paul. The amount on the day was R108 000 & i was advised and also signed a contract that the disinvestment amount to be paid out is R99 748.59 On the 14/03/20, only an amount of R98 749.57 was paid out. I sent an email to Laura Bosch, William Verral and [email protected], till today none has gotten back to me. I called the Services desk on the 16/03/20 to be advised that they can't assist me & I need to go back to the branch. I then called Paul who advised that the balance of R999.02 would be paid out in 2 days time as it's normal for the amount to be paid separately. On the 19/03/20, I called & spoke to Paul who advised that the market value had dropped hence a further R999.02 was deducted. This was supposed to be explained and put in the contract which was not. I had already signed, stopped & cancelled my policy, how does my money keep reducing thereafter. He, Paul, further advised that i was supposed to cancel my contract before 13h00, as thereafter, i get charged. He further stated that he is also unaware of such. None of this was explained or is even in the contract. I am greatly and highly disappointed in Old Mutual. After already deducting R8000, I am now told that the R999.02 is because i cancelled the policy after 13h00?? I do not & will not accept such nonsense. The contract i signed, which is in my position is for R99 749.57 and that's the amount I am expecting. I regret ever even considering investing with Old Mutual. And will never recommend them to anyone.
