On Sunday 11 January, my Mom made a purchase at Mambos in Brackenfell. The next day when they were busy getting her Daycare ready for opening, they notice the item she purchased was to small, the Teacher unfortunately with the whole cleaning up process accidentally threw the slip away. On Saturday 17 January 2026 my mom asked me to return the item to Mambos in Paarl, which is our home town and closest store. Upon arriving i explained to the cashier whaf happened, also saying i don't want the money back, this a different item and will pay the balance if there is a balance, she then proceeded to call someone who i assumed was the store manager, He came, not acknowledging me as the customer standing there as the cashier explained to him. He asked where the purchase was made, i told him im not sure, i phoned my mom and she siad Kraaifontein. He than told me, This is not he's problem, it's A CAPE GATE problem. I explained to him we live and Paarl, and i just want to exchange it for a different item and am willing to pay the price difference, he just continued saying its not he's problem its cape gates problem. I was totally shocked by this behavior. The store manager was standing 5feet away, not once he came to ask what the problem is. We are regular customers at the paarl store, is this how you treat your customers, as someone who has worked in Retail i know he definitely could have helped me. What happened to going the extra mile? What happened to assisting a customer, speaking with respect. Tyrone Supervisor at Mambos, you need to work on your people skills, 1st learn to greet a customer and speak with respect, saying its not your problem is Absolutely rude. So now my mom is stuck with an item at home, that she is unable to use. Oh, did i mention this is for her daycare, sies Tyrone.
So last week, I got send a mail, saying you have improved my 5g Connection, bull****!! . You improved nothing. You made it worst than its been before, we van even stream for 5 minutes straight, since last week, not even make a Whatsapp video call without losing signal. And now you want to up your price by R40. Are you not ashamed of giving us poor connections and now even wanting to charge us more for KAK. No man Rain. Fix your ****. Im absolutely fed up with you, you just as bad as Eskom.
I've had my router now for 2 daya, never had a internet connection. I had mane numerous calls but no answer. Requested a call me back numerous times and no feedback or call. Im so angry for chaning to Rain, being fooled by their adverts, i honestly thought i will ge beter internet connection. And now ive been stuck with this nonsense. They were so quick to call me to sell their product and now that i have it it has been of no use. And Rain is nowhere to be seen. This is thee worst service provider and pathetic service. O wont recommend anyone to switch. Day 2 and im already regretting this decision. I have had no use of this useless network.
This Afternoon i was visited by one of your consultants, he came to my house not introducing himself. Just took out his tablet and started showing me figures and monthly installments, I asked with with regard to what this is, he said the money you owe us, i asked him who is "us" and who are you and from where. He replied "DMC, google us if you want to" still not introducing himself or explaining what he is here for. Just showed my figures and skind me what i can afford to pay, i told him i can afford to pay this now. Like i have told the person on the phone a few weeks ago. Hy ignored me and told me i must pay 250 eveymonth from november. Demande my banking details so he can arramge a debit order and everything. I told him no i will get in contact with RCS myself. He said ok but i will be her again tomorrow, he told me he's time is valuable and i must take he's timw into consideration. Who the hell does this man think k he is. I didnt invite him here and now you want to tell me to take your time inito consideration. You come into my house demands me to pay and give my bank details, but you dont properly introduce yourself and explain who you work for and the reason why you are at my house. Complete and utter rudeness. I read your company reviews when he left. Seems like rudeness and bullying customers are part of your policy to get our money. We'll he came to the wrong person. I will pay my debt when I am able to or can afford to.
