Se net iets soos die: I had a contract with........to rent out my property. Everything seemed fine at first, but went from bad to worse. There was literally no communication from their side if I didn't make numerous phone calls or send emails, which they hardly responded to. Months went by without any positive leads, they said that no one was really interested yet other vacant apartments in the sam complex were taken within weeks of becoming vacant (not being leased by the same rental agency), in the process my extra set of keys also got lost because they admitted to allow interested parties view the property unattended but claim to know nothing about the keys after I asked them to get the keys. Even after complaining about the service from the agent and being moved to the HOD, nothing changed. In the end I had to cancel my agreement with them and found a tenant within days! I now have to replace all the locks in my house which is going to cost a lot of money because of their negligence and pathetic service. This just shows that they were not doing their job and customer service was zero. Worst rental agency, be careful.
How many times can a business take an innocent person for a fool? Rain definitely holds the record! Minutes after my review where accused Rain of s c a m m i n g, I received a call from Rain where I was promised my situation will be investigated and sorted out. Received an email 2 days later to ask me for my email confirmation of the cancellation (because they clearly lie when they say calls are recorded and they have no record of my cancellation that I have sent to various agents on numerous occasions) to get a refund but I am still waiting. It didn’t take serious investigations to ***** money from my account but it is taking serious investigations that somehow lasts for days to refund me. Do not fall for their S C A M!
If I could give -10 I would. I cancelled my rain account in March and paid the last fee. Received an email to confirm cancellation and the router was returned. All of a sudden a few months later I start getting sms’s that my rain account is in areas. Called them to ask about the sms’s and they assure my account is cancelled. Then they start calling me to say my rain account is in arrears and I send them proof of cancellations. On the 4th of August I called them as they had deducted R548 from my account and again they assured me that my account is closed and I should send them proof of the payment. I did and did not receive any feedback. Today a total of 5 deductions were debited from my account, amounting to R2189.16 was deducted from my account. Aside from pathetic internet connections, this company and its people are absolute ****mers, ******* and agents are highly unqualified to even attempt to do anything.
I have received the worst services from standard bank this past month. I was asked in January to send a proof of my car insurance. I sent a proof in during February and was asked to send in a more recent insurance. In March I sent a recent proof of insurance. Afterwards I was asked to provide my account number and ID number so that they can update my account. I was not comfortable in sharing this information especially since this email came from Hollard and not Standard bank. I did not receive any response after raising my concerns. On the 1st of April I realised my car payment was not deducted and received an sms shortly stating I owe R800 more than the agreed upon payment. I then called the bank and was notified that this payment included my car as well as the insurance which I was not aware of. Thus meaning the bank took out insurance on my behalf without me knowing it. Since then, I have been on the telephone with the bank trying to sort this issue out. I have been transferred from dept to dept because no one actually knows how to cancel this insurance and no one can give me solid advice on hoe to go about resolving the issue and all the consultants just keep telling me is to cancel the policy with Hollard (by the way, the department that works with this is not working during the lockdown). I have sent an email every week with my proof of insurance to the different email addresses provided to me but have not yet received any response. In the meantime I have not yet paid my car payment for the month as I cannot afford to pay 2 insurances and was told that this would give me a bad credit record and my car will be repossessed if I continue to not pay the car payment. Today I decided to go in to the bank. There they took me to the telephone and put me on the line with the same people I have been contacting for the past 3 weeks. And yet again, all they could tell me is how sorry they are, how they understand my problem but how there is nothing they can do to solve the problem. It is absolutely ridiculous that there are no insurance consultants in the bank either. Worst bank ever, worst service ever received.
As a very uninformed first home buyer, I hands down received the best service from Ooba. The kind and extremely patient lady who assisted me, not only provided me with the necessary information I needed but she also assisted me in securing the best home loan. She had my interests at heart and did not once get frustrated with my very inadequate knowledge. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone.
