Promoting reckless spending for airport lounge visits
Discovery is promoting reckless spending just to get airport lounge access. What nonsense is this of minimum monthly spent on swiping & online transitions of R23600. Your qualifying salary requirement is R70800. After tax , medical aid & pension deductions people are left with a net salary of about R30000. From that you have to pay rent & probably you have a car. Those deductions are debit orders because that take half of your salary. So please explain where must someone after these basic deductions get R23600 to swipe & do online transitions when they have around R15000 left and I am being conservative. Also that minimum spend of R23600 must be spend over 12 months , averaging R23600. What level of ****ery is this , now that you have clients & the bank is established your having just like the other banks if not worse. If this is not promoting reckless spending I don't know what is , just to get full access lounge visits. You must be ashamed , totally pathetic 🚩🚩🚩🚩

Takealot is **** !!!!
They sold me a tennis racket without strings , i then returned the racket demanding a replacement. Upon returning the item the item which was bought on sale and was now no longer on sale. So they credited my original amount back. I advised them i don`t want the money i want the racket at the price i bought it for on sale. They advised they would still honor the deal and would get me the racket irrespective of the price. Time to replace the tennis racket they are not changing their story saying they can`t approve the price difference. Takealot is ****ing **** and extremely unprofessional !!!!

Unprofessional and dysfunctional operation
Blessing Katonha is extremally unreliable and dishonest. After a back and forth my things were delivered. However where they had stored my things they mixed them with another persons things and some of my items were missing. I was then informed that the items were in another store they would bring them later in the week. He has been ignoring as he has my big Bosch silver metallic fridge am not now forced to go and open up a police case against this ********

Payments made without authorization
So someone was using my account information to book accommodation on bookings.com and it didn't need authorization so payments went through. I reported the fraud and they said I used it but couldn't show me signatures or copies of my ID when where I checked inn. How does someone check inn without providing identification

Dysfunctional voucher system
The probloem with cepitec is that the voucher system is outdated and disfunctional. On top of that they hv a very disfunctional middle man called shoprite and checkers. I was refused help at checkers kuruman to get my money with an original passport and a certified ID copy and was forcelly removed by management via security. The manager needs serious conflict management skiils as well as generally management s****s. It's unacceptable that people can't apply their minds and use their God given abilities to think

Checkers kuruman management is disfunctional they couldn't help me get my money out via an original passport and certified ID copy. They called security after refusing to help me to withdraw my capitec voucher

Don't know if I'll finish this year cause I've run out of momentum
So I take up insurance with momentum after about 2.5 years of being kicked out by discovery for being a so called multi claimant. Most of the claims were approved at discovery but they felt I was high risk. So when I joined momentum I didn't disclose that I had insurance with discovery before cause it was no longer appearing on my credit profile. A year later after being with momentum on my 2nd claim which my house was broken inn to and most of my electronics stolen to over a cost of 100k. They say I didn't disclose that I had insurance with discovery and was removed. Why would I mention something that doesn't appear on my credit profile anymore. Is it right that insurance companies remove u for valid claims and then even yrs later u must disclose that by the way I was removed from my old insurer. If you have bad credit you get listed and after sometime your name is cleared. So why does insuraner keep us hostage of things that happened years ago. Is it not enough that you've been on a list for sometime. I guess this is how my year will end, who knows might just take a few pills cause I've had it. I hope my accessors get they're commission, I don't blame them I blame the insurance institutions inhumane

Discovery insure is number 1 hands down
This is the best insurance in the South of Africa , I was a multiple claimant with them for house contents and portable goods as well as my car and they never gave me problem . Unfortunately I was a lability and they had to let me go but they did that in a professional manner. 3 years later I`ve dealt with Outsource , Momentum , PMD , ABSA and I can truly say they are best fast , fair and transparent by far with them its value for money. Dam I miss discovery insure just wish I didn't have so much bad luck !!!
