My Bernafon hearing aid leaked in the shower, and broke within the first month of ownership. That said I was told not to go into the shower with it. It is however comfortable to wear and easily forgotten. The manual however claim that the Benafon hearing aid has an "International Protection Rating - IP 68 which is the highest rating according to SANS 10142 I quote, Protected against long periods of immersion under pressure greater than 1 meter., which is patently not true in my case, I have emailed Benafon, but received no reply. As I cannot currently afford to pay the R5k plus to have it repaired, I has to pay a refusal of repair fee.to get my broken hearing aid back.
Once again great service. Many thanks to Cara for being able to include the crimping pliers with a previous order
I bought 2 Revov batteries with the intention of installing them later. Later proved to be more than a year later. Nothing on the box or included instructions preclude doing this. When the time came to install the batteries, they would not take charge. One of Revovs online technicians advised me to take the batteries into one of their service centers. Cape Town being the closest some 400km away, which I did. More than 2 months passed and I contacted Revov and advised the technician that had taken in my batteries them that I needed to collect them. This was on a Friday. On the following Monday, the technician contacted me to advise that some of the cells would not hold charge and would not be repaired under warranty, and to collect my batteries. I assume this is the first time they looked at my discharged batteries in the 2 months they had them. I understand that Revov has invoked their online warranty ( not included with the batteries), and have failed to reply to emails requesting clarity on which clause or closes apply to my voided warranty.
I recently purchased a drill press via Takealot due to the reputation of the make as a quality product. As the quality of the product did not dit not live up to its name, I returned it to Takealot pickup in Mossel Bay. As I was trying to enter the return on my cel the battery died. Being old and grumpy, this did not improve my state of mind. A lady by the name of I believe Jade?, Was totally un phased, and fetcher her personal cel and helped me complete the return, remaining polite, helpful and cheerful throughout the operation. She is a real asset to Takealot
Pick&Pay have advised me that for a warranty return I have to return electric and electronic stuff in its original packaging. This presents a problem when it is a TV and you live in a bachelor flat. For obvious reasons this is impractical, so you have to forgo any warranty. An email to their customer care drew an unsympathetic response, basically that is their policy.
A big thank you to Ina at Bernina Mossel Bay who have always provided great service, and Ivan Stevens from Bernina RSA for sorting out a problem with my wife's sewing machine after expiry of the warranty.
I went to Supa Quick Kleinmond this morning with my trailer tyre that had come off the rim. They reseated the tire on the rim and refused payment for the work they had some. What great friendly service
I bought a Willard battery for my son in April last year. The battery failed in Windhoek Namibia, and my son did not have proof of purchase. I contacted Midas where I had bought the battery, and got to speak to Koos. He tracked down a copy of the original invoice and emailed it to me. The Willard agent then happily replaced the battery at no cost.
Thank you so much for arranging refunds for my wife and my, as well daughters flights, cancelled as a result of Covid
In May 2018 the telephone lines were stolen. I continued to pay my account in the hope that my line would be restored. When it became evident that my line would not be restored, I contacted Telkom to request a refund. This took many months but I was eventually I received the refund. The monthly accounts for the discontinued service however continued. On the 29 May I received an SMS to call P&P Attorneys regarding my outstanding Telkom Account Ref 37M056112. I requested to be advised what the outstanding amount was and for service and the period this service was provided for. Their contact person is Caleb Ryce. After I asked for the above information, Caleb sent me an email today that the file on me is now closed andnoto refrain from calling their office in the future? Telkom apparently appointed this firm of Attorneys to hassle me. Telkom WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH MY ACCOUNT, and why was I handed over to the attorneys?
