I cancelled my Vitality effective 30 April 2024. Meaning that healthy food purchases within April qualified for cash back. Whilst I didn't use my Discovery Card, my Xtra Savings Account used was the same which means you were supposed to not only pick up my purchases but provide cash back. I did not receive my cashback on 8-9 May 2026.
My R400 Discovery Miles personal Health Pathways was not paid.
So Discovery Health asks us do complete Personal Health Pathways only to decline the claim for it. You asked me to go for a papsmear which I did but you declined the claim. Also I have a PMB condition and you further declined the claim. Uhm hello?

I think going forward, one must rebuttably presume that everything that Discovery Bank says is not true until proven otherwise. At this point, to save yourself headache, just assume that whatever they tell you is incorrect until proven otherwise. This is what your Discovery Bank Chatbot says, " To close an account, please follow these steps: - Log in to online.discovery.bank with your existing Discovery username and password. - Navigate to your account detail page and select the option to close your account. - Follow the prompts and accept the settlement quote. - If you have a credit balance, enter the details of a bank account in your name where the balance can be paid. - If you have a debit balance, you must settle the outstanding balance before closing the account. This must be done within the time specified in the settlement quote, or a new quote will be required. The process will take 24 to 48 hours to complete once all conditions are met." NONE OF IT IS TRUE. NONE.

She turned a rather bitter experience into a peaceful experience filled with trust and reassurance. I got injured but paid privately so had to claim back the funds. Janine followed up with both myself and the medical practice, explained everything to me and then followed up after I received my refund. Best in the industry? OUTsurance. Easy inspection process, relatively pricier premium but wayyyyy better service and coverage.
I've been asking for my transaction account to be closed but you've closed every other account but that one. I've liaise with Shaquille from the CEO but still, no progress. Please close my account before debit orders cause extra charges because I will not accept liability.
