Almost 4 months of waiting for a refund and still no response from VFS. I had to do 2 applications for refund for missing documents. I did everything that has to be done for the refund process and have gotten my 1st refund easily. However, my second refund is still pending and have not received any communications from them. It is very disappointing because they are very easy to charge the clients for simple mistakes in the application but will give you hell for refund!
Since we came back to South Africa in 2019, Burger Bistro has expanded their branches. The Service in Burger Bistro Villieria has been awesome! Not to mentiontheir scrumptious burgers that is the BEST IN TOWN!! We love supporting local businesses and WE LOVE BBs.
I am submitting an application for visa. Upon submitting the application, an employee of VFS told me that there was a missing document which was not on the list required documents (notarial form). I was informed that I would have to do the refund and the online application again. As advised, I completed the online application again, paid another full fee of R 1 535 and submitted a refund request on the initial fee. VFS responded that a penalty of R850 should be deducted. There is nothing within their regulations that states that this type of refund should be penalised to this extent. Also, it seems extremely unfair for a consumer to be penalised an administration fee that is more than half of the original fee. I have received a previous standard refund from VFS when the same issue occurred. At that time I only paid a penalty of R250. Now the issue is the same and VFS want to claim a penalty of R850. We want to #WIN this case.
RR Bistro is a vibrant restaurant in the middle of Villeria, Pretoria. It started small and has expanded through the years. The "chill" vibe an ambiance is fantastic and is loved by the locals in different ages. The food is very affordable and certainly delicious! It is our regular "restaurant go to" for two years now and they never disappoint. One plus factor we loved about RR Bistro is the hospitality and service of the crew and manager- one thing that is very hard to find in restaurants nowadays. Shout out to our fave server "Kenny!" Flight booking no. VH53BS We did the booking for our vacation last September 2019 for the holiday in April 2020. With the booking, everything went smoothly. I would say that everybody is willing to help and get the booking done. Although our flight is still scheduled on April, we don't want to get caught up in chaos of corona virus and asked if we can rebook/cancel the flights. So we emailed and called flight centre on February 9,2020 (2months before our flight). At this time, flights are not chaotic yet. We only received an automatic response in email and over the phone, an agent told us that we should wait another month as the situation or flights might still push through on April(fair enough). Feb. 12 I sent an email again for follow up- Still no response from them. March 12,2020 knowing that the airlines have cancelled most of their flights, our flight included, we emailed flight centre again but then again no response. We called the next morning just to be told by the agent that they are not the department dealing with the ticket cancellations. I asked for a hotline or number where we can call and she said there is no number and we should just email. I explained to her that I emailed 3 times already but there was no response. I tried getting information from the airline but they also said that since we bought the ticket from flight centre, then flight centre should deal with our issue. We completely understand the airline situation all over the world, but I hope flight centre could have just attended properly to any of our emails or calls and don't leave their customers hanging. Now we have ZERO idea what our options are or what is going to happen with our ticket. We booked through flight centre because we believed in their customer service. I guess we were completely wrong!
Momentum said that I am eligible to see a specialist under my health plan. They also provided a list of doctors and gave authorisation for me to see a specific doctor. After the doctors visit, they said they would not fulfill the claim. Very disappointed in this service from Momentum. Would not recommend them for students!
