The service was fantastic! While dealing with one claim our gesyer started acting up, I called the claims department and the assessor came out first thing the next morning, replaced the broken part and dealt with the insurance co. The administration was sorted after the repairs to ensure no further damage from a burst geyser - worry free service.
I cancelled my Vodacom account at the end of June (effective 2 July 2021 - contract was active for the full 24 months). After multiple attempt to sort out my account the last month's payment was eventually sorted.... Thereafter I received further accounts for promotional items that was on my contract - even though I cancelled everything. This took more time to resolve, my understanding was that it was corrected. Now, (3 MONTHS LATER) I have apparent outstanding balances with Vodacom which is showing at the Credit Bureau and negatively affecting my credit score. It took me 1.5 hours and 3 departments, explaining my problem multiple times, transferred from prepaid to contract to accounts with no luck. I can't call collection/cancellations directly since my number is prepaid. So I need to call via various channels to talk to someone who MIGHT be able to help me. I'm fed up with the service I receive from Vodacom since cancelling my contract.
I cancelled my contract with Vodacom effective 30 June 2021, on the 2nd of July a debit order went off - I questioned this and the lady said the debit order is for the month of June and not July, not sure if this is in fact the case. Again on the 2nd of August a debit order went off - I have no way of sorting out this issue as the Cancellations number (082 1958) is for contracts and since I'm prepaid I can't use this avenue - also, the customer care line does not have the option to query accounts and the Vodacom store said I can only be helped via the Customer Care Line. I now have to carry the cost to reverse the debit order on my banking app.
I purchased a pair of mens shoes as a gift. The Cresta branch was super helpful and helped me to get the correct size and even gave me discount since the same product was on sale at another store. The shoe was to small and hence I had to return the product. I went to the Clearwater branch 2 days after purchase where they refused to refund me as they said the shoes were worn. I explained that it's not possible since they didn't even fit. The lady assisting me said she thinks I'm a "liar" and maybe I'll have "better luck at the Cresta branch". This insulting accusation was in front of others colleagues and customers who were waiting to pay. The customer service was horrible!
We've been trying to cancel a contract registered under my deceased father's name since Sep 2018. The phone number is used by my disabled mother who has no other way of contacting us without the phone. We've sent through all required documents more than 6 times and still they claim documents is outstanding. The Sim card is disabled every so often due to "payments being in areas" even though we pay every month. I've been calling customer service every second day to confirm payment is received as it's a huge hassle to reactive the account but no one will assist without the death certificate which I've sent multiple time and I have the read receipts to confirm this. This is such a disappointment that they keep sending SMS's and calling with automated machines after we've told them over and over the lady is blind and can't use these services.
