Absolutely shocking interface with this company. Previously I wanted to sign up with this bank but was interrupted midway due to work commitments, requiring me to travel. So months later I decided to pursue this matter again, unfortunately no log in details work, on banking app nor web page, just tells me it does not recognize my id number to cellphone number supp****. I have spent over 40minutes on the phone with Discovery to try sort this out and still nothing!! I have even told them to remove all my information on their system, so I can start from scratch, but yet same error message still!! Rather sure it is against POPI act! As holding someone's information is *******, after they request for removal!!! How a bank manages like this is beyond me!!
I app**** for a maxi passport, they charged me quadruple (R2400) because it is a second passport and my prior second passport hasn't expired yet. I received my passport promptly but only checking after a few days that it was only 48 pages just like my normal passport. I had to leave the country for work purposes. I have sent numerous emails asking if the new maxi passport is only 48 pages, with not 1 single response to an email! What a great way for the department of home affairs to make extra money on people!!!
Beyond shocked on customer service, from this pathetic airline. Their flight from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg was delayed on the 29/11. With the delay it caused me to miss my connecting flight to France! Alot of poor communication given when landing in Johannesburg. Then to find someone to assist me on my accommodation was another story! They gave me my hotel at City lodge but had to check out at 11am, flight to France is only 19:20. When I went to question on a meal voucher or lounge, was told not the airline problem to accommodate me for the day while waiting for my flight the evening! Airlink I expect compensation for this inconvenience!!!
Absolutely terrible 1st experience with this company, purchased an item on the 7th of May 2025, when noticing the item does not work to expectation, i immediately returned it the next day 8th of May 2025, less than 24 hours after purchase, where i was notified i would receive refund of the item and filled the necessary documents to achieve that. After a few weeks noticing no refund has been processed, my wife went to enquire, as i am currently out of town on work. It was noted the refund will still be processed, yet nothing has been received to this day! I then proceeded with an email to the company on the 21 June 2025 enquiring on the status of the refund, it was noted it will be processed! Guess what still nothing on 2nd of June! Exercise caution when purchasing from companies that fail to honor their stated commitments!!
Content seems to be great, unfortunately seems extremely unprofessional, one chapter the lectures voice will be clear, next chapter its very poor and ****led and so it goes on through the modules, not impressed!
Terrible service, they will tell you to come back following day to pick up an item, then when you arrive to pick up the item, tell you no, you must go pick it up at another branch, which is other side of Port Elizabeth!! Simple service suggestion, if you cannot provide the client an item tell them!! Avoid wasting time and energy to drive back and forth!!
Words cannot describe my frustration! the time and energy i have put in to try receive my refund from Makro is beyond shocking!!!I ordered this product on 13/06, week after week trying to see where it was, i was told i would get refund, week after week finding out where the refund is, on 22/07 i was told i would get a refund, on 23/07 i got a notification item was delivered but it was not and still dont have my refund!! SERIOUSLY MAKRO GET YOUR THINGS IN ORDER!!! i will never in my life support Makro again after many years supporting i will strongly advise anyone against coming to your store!!!!
If you are looking for a company with the worst customer service you have found it! I placed an order online 13/06/2024 for a sleeper couch. 1 Week later i sent a message to find out when it will be delivered, with numerous back and forth, on 02/07/2024 i was told i shall get a refund as their is a supplier issue, since then i have sent numerous email with no response to where my refund is! as my online profile show it is still out for delivery!! i have even phoned Makro to be told it will be sorted, still nothing!! still my profile shows order in progress!! MAKRO WHERE IS MY REFUND!!!!!!
I am beyond shocked at the service to receive a refund back from HellyHansen/Hullabaloo! In all my years I have never experienced such terrible service, just to get my money back! After many years of wanting to purchase a Hellyhansen/Hullabaloo item, I finally did on the 03/06/2024. I received the order on the 07/06/2024, unfortunately the size did not fit me, I then inquired on an exchange, sadly there was no bigger size, so we agreed on refund upon return. I sent the package back on the 12/07/2024, upon waiting for acknowledgement if received, I emailed on the 25/06/2024 to assess what is going on and was told, a follow up will be made with accounting team and shall send the confirmation once they confirmed the refund. On the 06/07/2024 no refund was showing on my account, I then enquired again and was told a follow up will be made with accounts and will get back to me, guess what they never got back to me! So, another follow up email was sent 10/07/2024. On the 11/07/2024 I finally received a refund but to my surprise of only R600 from my R3638 order! Since then, I have sent numerous emails, even phoned, and spoke to 2 different assistant managers, on both occasions on the phone I was told they shall get back to me and guess what nobody ever called me back, till this day 20/07/2024 I am still waiting for my outstanding R3038!! I shall be seeking legal advice to get my money back; clothing companies cannot operate so!!
Terrible service, they do not comply with there statement on there website of 7 day money back guarantee! I was in a hurry for a sevice in order to watch the rugby world cup and was limited on time, once i bought the package i was sent the log in information but none worked even after following the PDF set up document provided by them. I will admit i am not the best with technology but then i requested my money back instead as i do not want to struggle, this was on the 16/10/2023, they responded twice to my email for refund but do not respond anymore, it is 10 days now after i requested a refund and nothing. Do not trust such service provider.
