After about 15 calls regarding my dispute with this company they finally admitted that they made a mistake now i am trying to get the devince i signed up for, Jason the manager would have called me back today the 29th of August 2025 I tried to call now 14h35 asking to speak to Jason however Saskia Jacobs refuse blatentlly refuse to put me through to him as then dropped the phone in my ear. This is really a company who do not understand what service means. STAY AWAY FROM THEM
I never had any contact with this company before. Monday I received an e-mail from them that they are applying for an EAO order against my salary for an 2022 account. I am trying to find out where this account comes from but no luck. I cant get a telephone number for them and when they reply on e-mails our network security block their mails. I never received anything from them and BTW to apply for an EAO order there has to be a judgement against your name also by the court and i have never been summonsed for something like that. This looks like a home based collector who is using some legal terminology to scare unsuspected people Be very careful when you receive anything from them, they use the name Elmarie van Zyl.
After my review on here of this company, now they are contacting me telling me they cannot find anything under my ID number, how is that possible if i have already received the wrong device???? This company is very ***** be very careful when doing business with them.
Stay away from this company. I was contacted by Hayley one of their sales agents for a cell phone contract with them. After I spend about 45 minutes with her on the phone setting up the contract and sealing the deal Hayley still managed to mess up my contract. I received the wrong product and now I cant get hole of her. Apparently you cannot caal the sales department and have to work through the customer service department. I have been calling them the 18th of August and still have had no feedback. They are quick to get a debit order in place but now that I need help and need this problem to be solved I keep on hitting a wall. i WAS JUST TOLE BY SASKIA JACOBS THERE ARE STILL NO FEEDBACK. I have been struggling with Rain internet service provider since December 2022. I have made numerous calls witch were supposedly escalated to their technical department but no one ever came back to me. We also requested an upgraded rooter but as I said no service no phone calls just empty promises. Tuesday 06 June I came across Yaseen Jardine a supervisor in the call center. I explained my problem to him, and he listen and told me (I will take ownership of this call and make sure your complaint is solved as a priority) And that is what he did. The next day on the 7th I received a call from a tech informing me they are on their way with a new rooter and to come and sort out our reception problems. So Yaseen Jardine kept his word and if it was not for his good work prompt service and keeping his promise we would have left rain and find a new SP. Thank you Yaseen you are a man of your word and you now that your costumers are important to keep your company running hens delivering excellent service. To Management if you can get all your staff up to the standard that Yaseen is on, you wil be the company with the best service and problem solving in South Africa. If you have such a thing as agent of the month Yaseen should defenatly receive this award. So if anyone have a problem with rain try and get hold of Yaseen Jardine, he is the man to go to and he deliver what he promise. Thanks Yaseen. Jacques Koen. Absa is the bank with the worst service I have ever came across. Their call centres is useless the agents don’t know what’s going on in their own business. If you have a question or query u always get transferred from one person to another person, no one seems to know what’s going on. Then every month they have some or other new fee that is deducted from your account sometime as much as R100. The newest fee is digital transaction fees. Although I have a cheque account that allow me to do internet banking and payments for years now all of a sudden I get charge for this. I do 1 internet payment per month the rest of the time I swipe my card, so I am charged R85 for 1 payment. This is ridiculous they always have something new to deduct or make money from us the clients, and this is after deducting your monthly fee depending on what kind of account you have. This needs to stop they are steeling our money under the cover of some or other service fee. Absa Ben Swart street Pretoria gezina is the worst. U sit in an que for an hour outside the another hour inside just to get a document stamped. If you want to speak to an manager they are always in a meeting or not in or on leave. ABSA YOU SUCK AND I HOPE U RUN OUT OF CLIENTS SO THAT YOU HAVE TO CLOSE DOWN.
This web site is false advertising. It says no callout fee and no obligations. But once you call them there are a call out fee and the callout fee is payable if you don’t use their services. So I called them for a quote and once I was told that there was an callout fee and I replied that on their website it says no callout fee the man became very angry. He threaten to come and assault me and also threaten that he could find my address. So this is a very dangerous situation if people don’t want to make use of his services he become threatening and insulting. Please close this site down before he really hurt someone. My wife was retrenched on the 31st of January 2020. Yesterday 5 March 2020 she went to the UIF offices in Pretoria CBD. Upon arrival they received a ticket with a number on (u1557) that’s the number they were in the que, understandable. So the wait began, after 2 hours her number were called and the voice said u1557 counter 26. So they got up and start looking for counter 26 after asking a few people and being send just about right around the building they came back and then learned it was counter 4. They then went and sat at counter number 4 where a very young man 1bout 24 25 by the name Jacob were sitting. My wife asked him why the voice announced that they had to go to counter 26, he then blatantly told them they are lying and they are old so they can’t hear too well anymore. (MY WIFE IS 45 YEARS OLD AND NOTHING WRONG WITH HER HEARING)!!! The gentleman that were sitting next to my wife number u1558 heard the call for counter 26 and when his name were called the same happened counter 26. When he told this to Jacob at counter 4 Jacob laughed at him and said something in his language to a colleague and pointed at my wife and started laughing out loud. He proceeding by referring to my wife as (you people you people think you can do everything) this was an full out racist remark, upon which he once again said something to his colleague and they laugh again. He then threw a document in front of my wife and told her (you must fill this part the bank must fill that part bring it back and give it in at reception. No explanation of what happening further nor how much she qualify for or anything. This young arrogant man treated my wife like she was a beggar and looking for an handout. My wife have been contributing to this fund for more years than what this little snotnose boy is old, and by his manner in what he were treating my wife and referring to them as you people clearly state that he has no respect for elder people nor can he stand wife people. He were just as rude to the man who had number u1558. I really hope something will be done regarding this matter since I have tried to call all their telephone numbers that I can find but no answer at any of them. On 31 October DSTV discontinue all their mobile services like the drifta and so on. They said it’s too costly to keep these services running. Every one that had a mobile device and had insurance on the device would be given a R500 takealot voucher. So after almost 3 months I eventually receive my voucher of R500 but what DSTV never told us is that voucher can only be used to perches DSTV products from takealot. There is just about nothing one can buy for R500 DSTV related. Now my complaint is. Where we were paying R55 PM that included 13 channels including supper sport 1 and 2 we are now forced to buy the full package op r900 + PM if we want to carry on receiving super sport 1 and 2 since these 2 channels are not available on any of their other packages. So from paying R55 I must pay R900 for 2 channels. I have made countless calls to multi choice but they don’t care and it’s not their problem. There reply is (if you want ss1 and 2 get the full package) We thought okay at least they are giving us the voucher just to learn that you have to spend it on something DSTV related. They are ripping off thousands of people like this. They are also saying if you have the premium package you get show max for free but what they don’t tell their clients is that you still have to buy data to watch or download from show max. They charge you just about a R1000 to watch shows over and over and over this is bull sh@t its time that the broadcast complaints commission look into this. How can you offer someone a service for 6+ years at R55 PM then just take it away and tell us go buy the premium package at R900 or R1000? I really hope DSTV loose a lot of costumers and that they come to realise that without us the costumers they are nothing. You cant really buy anything with the voucher so they are not really Compromising.
