I am extremely dissatisfied with the way UNISA is handling my refund. I submitted my completed refund form on 4 March, with the understanding that refunds are processed within 15 days. As of 7 April, more than a month later, my refund has still not been processed. I have called over five times to follow up, and each time I receive a different explanation. I have repeatedly been told that my query would be escalated, but this has clearly not happened. Instead, I am left chasing answers with no progress. To make matters worse, I was recently told that the 15-day processing period only begins once the finance department responds — which they have not done. This effectively means there is no real timeline, making the stated 15-day policy misleading. Last week, I was told that the 15 days had already lapsed and that I should expect payment soon. This has not happened. This experience shows a serious lack of accountability, poor internal communication, and disregard for students who rely on these funds. It is unacceptable for an institution of this size to operate this way,especially when dealing with student finances. I expect urgent action and clear communication regarding my refund.
I find myself having to resort to writing bad review again about Makro. I ordered my stuff online on the 25th and my goods came in drips and draps but now tell me why I haven't gotten ALL my stuff till date (8 April). It really can't take two weeks ro deliver toilet paper. I was told it was going to happen on the 1st of April..clearly I'm the fool..
APPALING COMMUNICATION!!!! I ordered on the 25th of November, I always do my shopping online. This is the second time they have been giving me a problem with my delivery mind you. My order was split, my other goods arrived but my groceries take forever to get to me. I received an sms on the 26th that my order has been handed to the courier and I will be receiving my order during the course of the day. It starts getting close to the delivery cut off time according o the courier company, I follow-up and they inform that was a delay on makro's end and therefore my order is with makro. I reach out to makro via their whats-app channel and I do not get the assistance I need and the bot tells me an agent will be in touch with me, that's around 16:16. Their agent responds at 3:06 AM. How unprofessional and what would I be doing up at 3am???? Obviously he does not get a response from me and they close the ticket without solving the query. I get another sms on the 27th that the delivery will be made today. I WAIT AGAIN ( day 2) and I see it's getting late again and so this time I reach out on twitter to MAKRO DMs and they respond fast and say they will follow up and provide feedback and that's at 2.35PM, 2 hours later no one has provided feedback, also how can they because the person that responded on twitter did not ask for my order number so whose order were they following up on. I then resort to calling them and one of their agents informs me that my order is still with makro and they are waiting for the courier. She asks to call me tomorrow (28th Nov) to give me an update which will make it 3 days of back and forth with makro and their trash service I AM SO LIVID BECAUSE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE THING THEY ARE NOT CONTACTING ME TO UPDATE ME ABOUT ANY ISSUES THEY MAY BE FACING.
Going through the worst with this company. I contacted the company with regards of hiring an excavator and it was needed in limpopo. I contacted Ivana Group and they quoted me for transporting the excavator and returning it when the job was done. The person whom I spoke to said he needed 50% deposit. I first sent 16k to the account 62851620784 and the the guy said that he was still getting a interprovince permit and we agreed that, he will then load the excavator the following day. When the permit was granted he then required the other deposit and I asked him to get on the way. We had a disagreement and because I was I was running behind schedule, I asked for a refund as I had made another plan. Since then I have been getting excuses. He has told me that he will not pay back the full amount because he put fuel in the truck, he also gave excuses that he sent the money somewhere else and he is waiting for the person to return it. I have been nagging him. I later found that the company is not registered and I have sent someone to where he claimed where the company claimed to be their premises. It was just vacant land.
