Poor service and dishonesty.

Good day Am lost of words about the greedy and dishonesty displayed by this company. Came highly recommended from previous customer but won’t recommend them to anyone. Received a quote for installation of flat sheets on existing gate. 2 days after installation, gate wouldn’t close (this after having settled outstanding amount in full).Upon enquiry ,I was told that now wheels needs to be replaced and was quoted a further R8k for replacement thereof. When I asked why Clive did not mention all this in his quotation I was then referred to Graham. He then promised to get back to me the following day. I hen waited four more days as the guy was not calling about the gate. Graham was meant to call to discuss my concern around why this was not included in my original quote ... I’m still waiting... btw, Graham was meant to have made contact a week earlier and never did. Energizer was “serviced” and upon return same problem persisted which was originally the issue... turns out battery was the problem, which at time of initial quote was told would not be the problem.I was then quoted on replacement battery (additional charge on top of original quote in order to replace battery). When again I requested clarity they sent me from pillar to post pressuring me to pay extra R 655.00 for the battery. Complete rip off. From wanting to install simple flat sheets to now having to replace wheels which costs 80% of what the original quote was for installation of flat sheet. What frustrates me is that these guys have been in business for a while , which means they have been Ripping people of like this. I guess 40 years of experience couldn’t identify the knock on effect of what extra weight on a gate would do to a wheels supporting the gate or that in servicing an energizer you might have to consider all components instead of just some. Utterly disappointed by what was meant to be a pleasant experience. Do yourself a favor a look elsewhere... you WILL find better value for money.
