My parents bought a property that was a late estate paid monies into Good Hope Estate trust account which the matter took a year before everything was settled. We were advised due to all the interest that was accumulated the transfer lawyers fees would be covered from that. Last year December the seller received their funds however the lawyer was not paid every week we have been calling and sending msgs but no feedback or responses to our calls or mgs. My parents did not receive a cent from all the interest. Still have not received their title deed as well. This is very unprofessional and a disgrace as to my parents are pensioners.
Took my family for lunch at MILNERTON'S branch. We ordered the birthday promotion which was 6 * chicken schnitzel meals for r60 per plate, ( we ordered cheese sauce extra and milkshakes) price wise not bad at all. But my kids messed their food said there is no taste to it, schnitzel was hard, chips was soggy tasted like mashed potatoes. Place is clean and lovely play area for kids to play. Just think they need to work on the quality of their food.
My Father went on retirement in Dec 2022 and then he went to apply for his provident fund at mibco in Jan 2023. He worked at Peninsula Auto Cooling in Tokai for 11years. Until today my Father did not receive a cent as they state the owner is in arrears with paying the funds and it's at legal department. Every week my dad call and no resolution. This is pathetic as my parents are pensioners and there is no income besides their pension money.
Flippn Bad Service overall... Thursday morning 20th July they decided to freeze my mother's account. We went into the branch then was advised it will take 48hours before we can access account again. Proof of payment was give to them of the funds that was paid into the account. Saturday morning we went back into the branch in Goodwood and then they advised us it will be open for access within the day. Yesterday my mother called in to the call centre and while being on the line with them they hung up. This morning we went back into the branch and now they state the problem is with Std Bank bare in mind Thursday, 20th July 2023, std bank confirmed that payment is legit. The more we tried to explain to the manager the more they tried to swift the blame to Std Bank. We left without any resolution I then asked can't my mother then close her account coz this is pathetic and they state they won't be able to do that. Cost of living is already so high now imagine my mother who is a pensioner that have to travel everytime to the branch as she can't access her account.
I have been calling Standard Bank insurance since 4th November 2022 have been sending emails and no solution. They send 3 different types of contractors to check the geyser out all 3 state its a mani****orer fault of kwikot but no1 solve the problem as the geyser still under warranty. The water bill is sky high due to the leakage. I wonder who is going to pay for the bill.
I would like to thank Grant at Goodwood HalaalDebonairs Pizza. Ive placed an order via uber eats at 4:30pm but the driver never pitched to collect my order but payment went through. Grant called me back and stated he will sent one of debonairs drivers to drop my order. Thank you for your service.
After being with Dr Patel ,at Bellville Melomed, since February for my pregnancy today I'm utterly disappointed. At 20weeks I was referred to have a 4d scan at a private company and everything was fine. Dr advised me that she worried about my placenta being low was booked off from work at 28weeks pregnancy.then at 34 weeks pregnant dr again referred me for a scan which is r2100 and I said I don't have the funds to pay which I did not go. Today I went to hospital due to having severe cramps and yellowish discharge. Dr Patel then gaved me a letter for somerset hospital bare in mind I do have medical Aid and have benefits available. If I knew this would be the case then I would have booked some where else.. Now from Somerset I have to go to Groote Schuur. If she knew she could not help me in the long run why didn't state it in 1st place.
I'm so furious with these people. We had Home insurance with Standard bank previously and they called made everything sound all green grass and roses. I did put a claim in for our toilet system on 8th April have been calling and mailing them none stop ... then eventually the appointed a plumber which they rejected the claim also not informing us ... again I have been calling and mailing ... I do understand the country is in pandemic due to covid 19 but the service is pathetic yet they quick to deduct every month their installment. ¹
