Took my vehicle in for an Amarok alternator to be reconditioned 3 weeks later & vehicle had to be towed to the closest VW Dealer which was The Glen. The Glen found that the V-belt has snapped and this was changed we also did a cambelt service immediately. Within a week a V-belt is about to snap again & I am advised that it's the Tensioner. Westgate says its not their fault & I must speak to The Glen. This is completely infuriating
Rented a vehicle from Thrifty Car Rental Sandton branch, 04 March 2022 for 2 Days and on the last day requested an extension for 2 extra days and on the extension days I was debited accordingly on the first day and on the last day I was triple debited. I enquired and when dropping the car and was advised to send an email to their Sandton Depo, I did that. 5 days later I contacted them to enquire on the status and was advised to send bank statement which I did and they noted the mistake and advised that it will be discussed with the manager on the 16th March I called their call centre and was advise that it will be escalated. 17 March I follow up with a call where the contact centre lady just rudely stated I should wait and they will get back to me when they get to my contract. This was literally no way to speak to their customer even where you get profiled by your name and spoken in all different languages besides your prefered language. This was just a wake up call never to book a car with Thrifty.
Nedbank not uplifting interdicts on judgements on Home Loans. I requested a settlement from Nedbank and received the figure and further asked if the figure provided covers everything and I won't get extra fees from anybody else and they said yes. After paying that figure, I get a call from attorneys that advise that they were appointed by Nedbank to assist me with the Deed. I was not informed about this by Nedbank on this and these attorneys had extra fees that I had to pay. I paid this also and now I am being advised that there are interdicts on my property and I will have to pay extra to have these lifted. I went back to Nedbank about this and they advised me that this is my problem as I defaulted previously on my account. Even though this default was sorted out and remedial actions were taken to address the default. Now they are coming back to say that its my problem with the interdicts and I should sort it out myself as its has nothing to do with them. This is poor customer relations and unacceptable.
Recently acquired a vehicle from Affordable Cars and got charged for Licensing & registration and the vehicle was registered but not licensed and further asked to go do licensing on my side as they are a different province. I then sent an agent to go licensing due to being hectic and now its become a huge back and forth emails and calls with Affordable Cars not will to reimburse the licensing fees, whereby I have been charged for it on their invoice. Their assistant business manager (Jackie) keeps saying sorry I will check or sorry I don't understand. This is bad customer service when they already have received their full payment.
