Struggling my ass off just to get service from playstation. We moved from SA to USA and need to change my phone number to be able to log into my account, but have not been able to get any help from them at all. How useless can this support system be? Honestly!
This has been the absolute best service that I have ever received online! This online shop has a wide variety of gaming features, collectables and gaming accessories. They have been so extremely helpful, is super quick to respond and takes the time to personally message you to find out if you have received your goods and if you are happy with them. I would recommend this online store to anyone looking to find things for your PlayStation, X-box, PC, etc. This is definitely an online store that will make you broke because they have such good service, the most amazing accessories and items and are always willing to help, they make you WANT to spend your money.
Takealot has once again exceeded my expectations!!! They always have amazing service delivery and awesoms staff. I ordered my product at 3 in the afternoon and collected it the following day... They are so extremely fast and amazing with product delivery and customer service... I would recommend them a thousand times over...
Once again putting up a review, even though my previous review has not yet been responded to. I have also sent an email to the MTN complaints department and no feedback has been given. Lovely service. So since the 2nd of July, I have been trying to upgrade my cellphone contract. What an epic fail that has been. From feedback like "The service agent never completed the contract upgrade application", to "We are waiting for the 512gig phone that I "Specifically" ordered which they don't have in stock and are waiting for to be delivered" (I never requested such a phone), to "We are doing everything we can to speed up the delivery and book overnight delivery", to "The package has been sent out to DSV couriers and should arrive shortly". This has been going on for the past 2 weeks. Then to top things off, DSV couriers in JHB apparently don't cover the Secunda area and will first have to send the item to Witbank and then only deliver it to Secunda which is going to take another 2 to 3 business days. So thank you MTN, for once again showing us what the standard of customer service is. I have been promised numerous times that a manager will be in contact with me after asking to speak to a manager numerous times and no manager is ever available. Then an email is sent to the manager to call me and no manager ever gets back to me. The absolute cherry on the cake is the fact that this is not even a free item or device or contract that I am given, I pay for this each and every month. What more should a person do to get proper service that is paid for?
I would like to once again complain about the level of service received by MTN. It is time to upgrade my contract once again, the contract is in my husband's name and we went to the MTN shop in Secunda. As per the usual standard, they don't have stock of the phone I want to upgrade to. They did however order the phone for me, which is a promotional offer by MTN. The Samsung S21 Ultra along with the Samsung watch 3 41mm. This was last week Wednesday, the 31st of June 2021. They would call as soon as the phone arrived. Friday 02 July 2021, I was in town and thought I would just pop into the shop to find out, maybe they received stock and were a bit busy to call. The phone did arrive but apparently, they didn't receive the correct watch to go with it (They received the 45mm watch). So I tell them to just continue with the upgrade and give me that watch instead as that is also on promotion with the phone. The lady continues but then tells us that there is R2700.00 outstanding on my old device and that I would need to pay that over the next 3 months as well plus my new device and contract, as I am doing an early upgrade which I was under the impression is still possible as we have been doing it like that for years. Non the less, I tell them to cancel it. Since for the past two upgrades, I have been struggling with the MTN Secunda shop and have been doing my upgrades online in the hopes that it would be better and I could receive better service. So Friday, 02 July 2021, I phone in to the online upgrades, the lady that assisted me was extremely nice and proceeded with the upgrade. She tells me that there is the R2700.00 outstanding still on my old device, but I would be paying for the old device still until October and then only start paying for the new device, which was great and I agreed, I also upgraded the data line as well. She told me that they will do a credit check on my husband and that we will be kept up to date with how all of this went. Obviously, over the weekend I understood that there would be no feedback, but on Saturday I got a message that the credit check was approved and the upgrade can continue (Colour me impressed). Monday 05 July 2021, I received an SMS with the ref: 1-5887806264 that my order has been submitted, which I assumed would be the phone and watch being sent. Also on Monday 05 July 2021, the pro-rata data for the data contract was loaded as well as the promotional data. To my dismay, nothing was loaded onto my phone. So today, 06 July 2021, I ask my husband to phone MTN and find out what is going on and whether the device has been sent yet, to which they tell him that the order for the phone and watch was never submitted and thus, it hasn't been sent. So thank you MTN, for once AGAIN disappointing me with your services, after being with you for how many years. Again it just goes to show that you as well as your employees, have NO regard for your customers and as long as we pay our monthly bill on time, otherwise the lines get cut, you don't care whether your customers are happy or not.
I have been phoning MTN constantly on data that has gone missing and loaded late onto my data contract with them. It has been 4 weeks now of numerous calls to the call centre, calls that rarely if ever last a MINIMUM of 30 minutes at a time, I've been hung up on numerous times, I've been promised call backs from the supervisors or managers from MTN and still nothing. We are verging on almost 30 days later with NO satisfaction and contract breach from MTN's side. I am at this point and time feeling that I should cancel all 3 of my contracts from MTN and moving to another service provider. I am over the way that MTN treats their paying customers that has even through cobid and minimum salaries still kept on paying for a service that is not up to standard.
So to start this off, this is my second Hellopeter review. My first review was on the 2nd of Feb 2018, to which MTN replied with an apology on 3rd Feb 2018 (Thank you MTN). Thereafter I replied on their comment (which they didn't read or reply to 08 Feb 2018). But just a quick recap, after I phoned the MTN call centre (02 Feb 2018) to do the upgrade VIA them, I was assured by the very nice gentleman on the other end of the phone that the phones will arrive the following week (05 Feb - 09 Feb 2018) which I was very relieved about as this has been 2 weeks since I ordered my phones from the shop and got very poor service from them. So last week by Thursday, I haven't yet received a call from the couriers that will be delivering the phones to arrange for a drop off time, so I asked my husband to follow up with MTN. He got told by the operator that NO request has been logged on the system with regards to a contract update and the phones has obviously not been sent yet. WOW!!!!!!! So after a very heated conversation (Can you blame us since this is exactly the FOURTH time that we have to go through this process!!!) the new operator assured us that by latest Monday 12 Feb 2018 we will have our phones. Saturday get a call from the courier service to confirm the address for delivery that they will make on Tuesday 13 Feb 2018. I can honestly say that I am disappointed in the way that MTN is handling the situation. I pay my bill every month. My contract fees were raised during my contract payment and I paid the extra money with no complaint. I took out a even more expensive contract, raising my original contract fee with R300. So is this the service that I should get used to? How does MTN treat the customers that skip monthly payments?
My husband and I went in to the shop Thursday 25/01/2018 to find out when we could possibly upgrade as I know we are due for a upgrade. So when they EVENTUALLY help us, they say we are due in Feb, so any time from the first of Feb we can upgrade. So we ask the person assisting us that he please order our phones then so we can come in the next Thursday 01/02/2018, renew the contract and get the new phones. Have and behold, after waiting in the shop for 40 minutes (there was a long queue and only 2 people assisting) we eventually get to the front. And then we are told that not ONE of the 2 phones that we have ordered is available. So after being a little upset about the fact that the previous Thursday we wasted our time, energy and the oxygen in the air, the assistant tells us that the phone will arrive today 02/02/2018 @ 11 in the morning. I call them to find out if the phone has arrived yet, and to NOT MY SURPRISE, NO PHONE... I am so livid with MTN as I ALWAYS promote them as the best network since I don't like Vodacom (also because of multiple bad experiences). I understand that some things are out of their control, but don't make promises you can't keep!!!
