****ing useless medical aid
This useless ****ing medical aid must watch when i go to the council of medical schemes. My husband is on Gems and they added a 5% later joining penalty fee. My husband was on a medical aid and was retrenched. Gems is playing with fire. I am going to take this up. He belonged to a medical aid previously so how can they be a later joining penalty fee and further more i submitted proof of membership certificate from his previous medical aid.

It will be a month now that my baby has been born and they still have not reversed her day to day benefits. They used her day to day to pay for services rendered in hospital. Gems is a ****ing useless med aid company and they employ 90% brainless people who dont even ****ing know what they doing. I keep reporting that my babys day to day needs to be reversed. Her funds were used for in hospital stay. What us ****ing hard to resolve there. Even her extender benefit has been used.

The worst and useless medical scheme in South Africa. Anything brought to u by the ANC!
Nearly 3 weeks has gone by and Gems has not reversed my baby's day to day benefits. They used her day to day benefits to pay service providers for services rendered in hospital yet theres an hospital benefit. Gems is a thieving and cunning medical schemen they know how to **** members off. Can you assholes sort this **** out asap as i just visited the offices for council and medical schemes. Before they get you guys sort this dam mess out .

Most useless Medical aid
I have given birth on the 24th. My last gynae appointment was on the 15th April but Gems being an asshole medical aid they pay the gynae from my day to day benefit. Still my day to day benefit shows i used a certain amount but yet i did not. The gynae visit for 15th April was suppose to come out from the maternity benefit. Uselesd bunch of idiots that work there. They dont even know what the hell they doing.

Gems is the worst medical aid in south africa!
Here goes Gems again. This time they gone to far and council of medical schemes shall get all the proof they want and see what Gems is doing to their members. I was admitted on the 22/04/26 in hospital until the 27/04/26. They given authorisation for those dates but this stupid Gems decides to use my day to day benefits and pay the service providers that claimed in hospital. How stupid can one be??? Gems you better reverse those and give back the money in my day to day benefit. Your agents in the call centre are so ****ing useless.

Useless ****ing take alot.
Please be very weary when ordering from this ******* place take alot. I placed an order for same day delivery with a delivery fee of R95. These ****ing *******s decide to reschedule my delivery. Mind you im in hospital and needing this item i ordered urgently. I curse these *******s for what they did. ****** *******s!!!!

Dischem sucks and dont deserve any support from south african citizens.
I had my babyshower in kzn. I received 2 baby things nappies brand.I went to the medowdale edenvale branch. I was not given a slip and the nappies are not even opened.I get it if it was another brand and it can not be returned. But this clearly a dischem brand but dischem being *****es wont allow me to return it without a slip. First time experoencing such even clicks is 100 times better then these assholes. Imagine im 37 weeks pregnant and literally asking them politely to please exchange it for the huggies brand. I didnt want a refund. It goes to show these ****ers dont care about customers. I had stuff to buy at dischem but after my experience today i decided let me go to clicks and give them my business. Dischem will never get my support again nor from my family.

Useless checkers sixty service.
I placed an order on the 19th April. The driver cancelled my order and went back and **** i was not at home. And mind you i have cameras. The driver named Denzel Dube never pitched up but rather lie to save his Ass. Then i placed another order got charged extra and paid delivery fees only to receive my order with missing items. Checkers sixty catch a dam wake up. This is not the first time. This happened to me last month. And when i told the driver off for cancelling, he parked his bike far from my house and walked pretending to be a person just walking on the road, he takes a pic of my house and he even had time to take out his uniform. All this captured on my cctv. And i saved all these videos incase something happens.

So i put a withdrawal request for my two pot and still no feedback from this useless Sanlam. It says completion for tomorrow the 14th April but still no email etc to say what is happening.

****tiest medical aid. Do not ever join Gems if u end up working for Government.
So nothing has really changed from my last review on Gems. I thought il give them a chance but these ******* people that work at Gems are ***ards. Instead of claiming for my gynae consults from my high risk maternity plan they are claiming it from my day to day benefit!!!! I have decided to take legal action and with the help of the ombudsman. Gems has caused me alot of stress. I mean what is the point of having medical aid. My bp keeps fluctuating due to the stress of what this medical aid is doing to me. I called the call centre numerous times to resolve this matter all they do is give me reference numbers but never resolve the issues. They even arguing with me that the icd 10 code Z35.9 which means supervised high risk pregnancy. They keep telling me its wrong. Do you think the gynae will be dumb to put a code she does not know. I decided to hire a lawyer and now im seeking legal advice. For everything Gems is doing to me i have a strong case. I have call recordings, emails statements etc to sue them.
