I have to say the BEST Padel club that I have ever been to. The courts are always in great condition- clean, swept, and dry(they even have a super-sopper). The management are super helpful with bookings and equipment advice. I would recommend Jozi everytime over any other.
Placed an order at about 7.00 am. delivery at 9.00 am (already two hours/120mins) looked at my phone a while later and my order was cancelled, apparently, the card was declined? Oh well, I re-ordered 8.31 am and add more items, delivery now 11-12 (now 180 minutes???????) ETA 12.00. I am battling to see the sixty minutes in this whole deal. I decided to give them a call. Simon took my call, lucky him. He basically told me -- "Bluebird is one of our busiest stores and you will just have to wait and in any case, their advert says UP TO sixty minutes and I did accept the time for delivery." Soooo......... I went and had a look at terms and conditions and I must have missed it because I never saw the part where they can deliver whenever!!!! The advert (which I also watched) says "order in sixty seconds and get your delivery in sixty minutes. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS LEVEL OF CON!!!!!!! CHECKERS ARE MAKING WAY TOO MUCH MONEY TO NOT LIVE UP TO THEIR ADVERTISING. I CANT COPE, GET MORE DRIVERS AND PICKERS!!!!!!!!
We are "regulars" at Smokedaddy's in Fourways crossing. We always have great service but this last weekend the guys went above and beyond. They have been running a special called the "Burger shake" which is 2 awesome burgers + chips + 2 magnificent milkshakes for an unbelievable price. Due to the circumstances surrounding us all at the moment they decided to discontinue the special for the time being, we were not aware that it had been discontinued and ordered. When we got to the shop to collect my order we were informed. We understood and said we would change our order, but Clint and Howard said they would not hear of it and called the Directors who gave them permission to give us the special. THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT. We will always use these guys - ALWAYS!!! Thank you once again.
Went shopping for slippers and in general throughout the centre most sales people were lethargic and generally not helpful......UNTIL we went to Truworths and were served by the most delightful and helpful lady by the name of Mandee. She went out of her way to assist even phoning other branches to find stock, and in the end we got just what we needed. Just how you would imagine service to be. Thank you!!!
I think it must run in the trade or the centre. The service standards at Checkers have taken a dive. When they first opened their service levels were where you would expect them to be. Yesterday I bought the "famous" ripe and ready avocados. This morning for breakfast (I typically would use 4-5 avos for breakfast service) the avos were of course hard. I took the said avos back to Checkers to get them replaced. I like the Haas avo because 9/10 times they are good. They only packed them in packs of 2 for R49.99 whereas the 4's (not haas) for R69.99. I chose my 4 avos and went to the till and explained that I would be taking the 4 haas and not the 4 fuerte avos. They said I could not do that. Now might be a good time to explain that I spend between R600 and R1200 per DAY at this Checkers. My complaint is that they have the cheek to put out avos that re"ripe and ready" and the customer is the one who loses out all the way. I have to drive back and I have to waste my time because if their incompetence and then I have to pay an additional R20 for hard avos again. I will now only do business with them in an emergency NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!
This shop has a lot to learn about customer service. Incredibly long queue they do have an Express till but not open!!!! Not happy

Not for the first time I have bought items from the Norwood branch and the price is wrong and the attitude is like it or lump it!!! Today I lumped it. Wrung up all my shopping and walked out in frustration becacause the could not give a damn. If the consumer council could get involved they might be in trouble. Not happy
